Loading 357 mag jacketed bullets without a cannelure
Grayfox54 replied to jeff43's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
That's been my experience. I've had to dismantle a few cartridges where the bullet did not have a cannelure. Every one of them had a groove left in it by a good roll crimp. -
I agree with Greg, that gun looks too new to be an original. Especially the finish on the wood. A Winchester that old should have a a plain or dull wood finish. Not glossy. Of course someone may have refinished it. What are the exact markings on the gun? Especially the caliber?

I like the idea of an cylinder that's easy to remove for cleaning. But I am curious as to how well and how long it'll hold up?
-
Yes, but its not recommended for routine cleaning. It doesn't take a lot of wear before a screw starts backing out during firing. Only take it out when you really need to.

I liked Shoney's. You could make a full meal on the salad bar alone. The buffet was great and hot fudge cake for desert. Had two of them fairly close to my home. Sadly, Covid killed them both.

Looks interesting. It is a six shooter. That kinda gets my attention. I'd like to get one in my hands before passing judgement. AFAIK Diamondback is a mid-tier gun maker. I believe they started out with a pocket 9 that was of dubious quality. But I checked their website and it seems they've expanded to much more.

Well done, Sir! These are excellent guns. I know you'll love it.

I still have walls like that.

As I understand it, the Algerian boxer in question is and was born female. She just has an incredibly high testosterone levels and was born with that too. She is a bit of a freak, but is a woman. IDK, believe whatever you want.
-
Yep, that's what it is. Could be they just put the empties back in as a way of policing up used brass.

I love the .44 Special cartridge. Would love to has this. But, as usual, you're plumb at the other end of the state. -
I had to look that up. WTF? What equipment is used in the combined event (pistol shooting + cross-country run)? Laser pistol: A pistol using new technology developed to perfectly replicate an athlete shooting a traditional air pellet pistol while reducing lead pollution from pellets and offering cheaper, more fan-friendly venues.

The only part of the Olympics I have any interest in is the shooting sports. Of course MSM won't cover them because they don't fit the agenda. Peacock is actually covering all the shooting events live. But you have to have Peacock to start with and then they come on at like 3:00-4:00 am our time. Besides, the Olympic officials castrated many of the shooting sports years ago by changing all the small bore events to air guns. Oh well, I am rooting for the home team. I send the U.S. Shooting Team a few bucks every year. I hope they bring home a bunch of medals.

Mr Archie, you know all the right people. Maybe TFA could light a fire under the Attorney General to put a quick end to this stupidity? Memphis needs a good smack upside the head now and then. Besides it would save time and money by foregoing the inevitable law suits. Frankly, if this should make onto the ballot, I'm not so sure it would pass. The citizens of Memphis are fed up with crime. I don't think they'll go for anything that further restricts their ability to protect themselves.
