I kinda like it. But it does make me sad. Christmas car commercials in general just make me shake my head. Do you or anybody you know ever really give or receive a car for Christmas? The whole idea is ludicrous to me.

Probably just stocked up for Christmas. Once these are gone, they'll be back to having very little. As for myself, I have no intention of setting foot in any kind of retail establishment until about mid-january.

The democrats wanted to put hearing aids in Medicare as part of Joe's multi-billion dollar build back plan. Vision care too. But they were also one of the first things cut. But I think that may have just been smoke and mirrors because they knew it would never make the final version.

My hearing loss isn't related to service. So the VA is a no go for me. Neither is it shooting related as I've always been careful about ear protection. Mine came about from listening to diesel engines for 42 years.

I got a letter from 2AF about two weeks ago laying out the plan. My current hearing aids are old and on their last legs. So I checked it out. Reminds me of George Floyd. Understand that I'm in no way excusing the actions of that cop. He was wrong and got what he deserved. But Floyd was made out to be poor innocent citizen victimized by law enforcement because of his color. Truth is that if he hadn't been high as a kite and committing a crime, the police would never have been called in the first place.

That's big part of my problem. Living alone and cooking for one is not good. I'm a decent cook, I just don't like to. As the old saying goes: If we are what we eat, then I'm fast, cheap and easy.

I have an inhaler, but very rarely use it. Nor do I take medication for my COPD. Normal, everyday activities go just fine. Its when I exert myself that I have trouble breathing. I was fine until I got so sick back in 2019. What really pisses me off is that before then I used to walk 3 miles a day, every day just for exercise. No problem. Could have done more if I had the time. Walking and hiking the woods was a favorite thing for me. Now I'm just not up to it anymore and getting fat to boot. Getting old sucks!

Not sure if my knees are up to it. Don't really trust who I'd be sharing the road with either. I can walk a mile or two. But have to take a short break about every half mile. Damned COPD. The muscles are willing, but I run out of wind.

We never get the entire story. We only get the parts that the liberal media wants us to see to fit in with their agenda.

I fell victim to the quarantine 15. I was already a bit tubby, but now it really shows. So far all efforts to lose it have failed as I do have some physical limitations and hard exercise is not an option. However, I can do light exercises. I'm open to suggestions.

It ain't about constitutional rights. Its about opening the door for individuals to sue gun makers. Isn't there already a federal law against that? Anyway, anybody can sue anybody over anything. This just opens the door real wide. My guess is it won't pass Constitutional muster. But ya never know. If it passes, I'm guessing the gun makers will just quit doing business in California. That should be interesting.

Can't say for sure, but I think the OP may be looking for a used one for sale locally. All I can say is good luck with that. The Super is an oddball cartridge these days. Not near as popular as it once was. It was very popular with competition shooters for a long time. But with the coming of 9mm Major ammo it pretty much died off. Yet it does have a small, but almost cultish following. Owners rarely sell. I like the cartridge and have 4 of them. Nope, they ain't for sale. My suggestion to the OP is to either order a new one on line or search the auction sites.

Oscar Mayer sells their hog dogs in packages of 8. Actually its two sealed bags of 4 wrapped together. Since I live alone, that works for me.

Actually its pretty much straight east of Shelby County. BTW: been in Bartlett about 30 years now. Never regretted the move once.
