  1. Uncle Capone has me guarding this... Touch it, I dare you!
  2. Ok then, if they indeed notified them then it's on the business to rectify the situation. I have no heartburn when a company does something like this as long as it doesn't single out the gun industry (or conservatives) while allowing others to skate.
  3. Yea, I could see if the vendor broke the TOS, but at the same time shouldn't they of notified the vendor there was an issue instead of rejecting the purchases, after the fact? Once a customer comes out of the store, with a product, it is a PITA to get them back in to pay for what they already consider paid. I know if I was one of the businesses involved, I would be seriously thinking about not doing any further business with them after this.
  4. Thanks, I may take you up on it if nobody has one closer.
  5. I wonder the number affected? Enough to make this a class action lawsuit? I'd like to see if they are ready to put some $$ behind their decision.
  6. Yea, and customers can do the same. But I consider this a losing proposition for them, when people determine that they can deny legally purchased goods and services just because they don't like said services they will vote with their feet. Today, it may be guns, next, what? Alcohol, cigarettes, political contributions???
  7. Anyone have a Throat Erosion Gauge for an M1 Garand I could use, borrow or rent? I ordered the Muzzle Erosion Gauge as it will come in handy for any 30 Cal, but the TE Gauge is caliber specific and this is the only 30/06 I own. I highly doubt I will need it beyond the initial check, I'm just trying to get the initial numbers to see where it stands right now. If in Nashville or Clarksville area maybe we can get together and just check it on site this weekend.
  8. Well, looks like CITI is all in, and while guns sort of fit into their exclusion list, the fact that guns were not on it before just screams "Anti-Gun" to me. https://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2018/5/30/fear-loading-citi-excludes-gunsammo-from-new-credit-card-protection-policy/
  9. Nah, the suspect was said to of turned and aimed two guns at the home owner. If the shots hit in the front, no issue, if in the back then maybe, but doubtful.
  10. Keep an eye on Seattle, as they go so will the state, and they have a large liberal voting block. It's a west coast infection that will spread, we may slow it down some, but it is slowly infecting all major cities.
  11. Well sure, wouldn't you defend your family more than a stranger?
  12. Give T-rowe price a call, many of their funds have been doing quite well.
  13. I've been thinking long and hard on this one. One one side, I see your point, murder is murder, but then I think, isn't killing a police officer not only murder, but an attack on society, and the rule of law? Most murders are usually between individuals who know each other, or are in the same game, drugs, gang, domestic etc. A police officer is there to keep the peace, for the rest of us. He may settle disputes now and then, but mostly there to keep us civil. Attacking that not only commits a crime, but also erodes society a bit. And I must add, the same goes for killing anyone in any public office, and of course this is only when done while in the line of duty.
  14. Apparently there is enough stupid to go around as often as it happens.
  15. You know, you would think those NFL players and their supporters could do the same for the offended soldiers...Hmm, different shoes?
  16. Unless the OP is a previously banned individual, as was insinuated above, you guys are pushing the easy button a bit prematurely IMHO. He was dubbed Hitler well before this post.
  17. Deserves to be called that and then some IMHO. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nationalreview.com/2018/03/david-hogg-profanity-laced-rant-targets-gun-rights-supporters/amp/
  18. I've used 26 yards as a zero for some time in .270, it worked great for my purposes. Specially useful when you don't have long distance ranges to zero at. https://www.americanhunter.org/articles/2014/2/4/the-26-yard-hunting-zero/ So I looked for a distance to use with my M4, I settled on 36 yards which worked better, for me, than 50 meters.
  19. I think so, the tumbler I have is quieter than my vibratory tumblers. Might be because it's full of water, but it is quieter, not quiet by any means, but quieter. And, if done right, less mess; I always hated the fine dust that would go all over when I opened, then sifted the media.
  20. Really, how so? My daughter hit a deer in Nashville, they had the car towed to Clarksville to Bumpus, and paid for a rental. The issues were on Bumpus (took too long), but they all made it right by Bumpus paying for the rental beyond stated time.
  21. Yup, SS wet tumbling is the way to go, I have a Frankford Arsenal that I got on sale, I got their magnet as well, and a Midsouth media separator. I tumble for about an hour, gets them pretty clean with a tablespoon of Dawn or Car Wash soap, with carnuba wax, and 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid (lemishine), the tumbler came with some pins but I got the MTM pins, before the tumbler, I was getting ready to use an HF tumbler. The first time or two I had some pins still mixed in with the cases, but now I have it down and don't have a single pin mixed in.
  22. No need for expensive setups
  23. I had SunTrust a long time ago, can't recall why I left, might of been charges, ATM or check fee. I've been with BOA for a long time, never really had a big problem with their service. But enough is enough, time to give my business to companies that support my side of things, or at least stay neutral.
  24. You guys make use of the wax? It's a great additive for bullet lube and even to flux your lead when melting wheel weights.
