Levi Strauss Joins In Anti-Gun Nonsense
Omega replied to RodMyers's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I used to buy Levis, but they became overpriced and jumped into the modern bandwagon with the styles. I usually get Wranglers or Lee jeans now, and those I get when on sale. Another company which feels they can come out ahead, personally I don't think this will help their sales slump. -
First Titled: Kohl's does what?

Clean shoot, truck cuts him off, then driver gets out and aims a gun...case closed. Not much the uber driver could have done seeing as it happened so fast, good thing he got to his EDC fast enough.

Oh, they ticked off the hunting/shooting community as well..that didn't help. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/01/john-boch/armour-dumps-hunters-reaps-whirlwind/

Seems they don't care until they start feeling the pain, and even then they will lay blame elsewhere...but we know. I went in once, no twice, due to a gift card, and the prices on things I was interested kept me away.

I love it's sure to get plenty of donations.

Seems that someone in Clarksville has played fetch with Granma's dog. I wonder how many are around? http://clarksvillenow.com/local/black-bear-spotted-in-clarksville/

I find that those that NEED to change their names end up needing to do it again due to their behavior. Maybe that is why the feature, which I remember seeing as well, has been illuminated from TGO, to give the benefit of the doubt.

A big win for Defense Distributed!
Omega replied to gregintenn's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Not sure that is entirely true, current extension is due to Dem States argument which has nothing to do with export restrictions: The first case, which the Feds settled, was due to the ITAR, but this one, IMO, does not. -

If bootleg laws are any indication of effectiveness then we have nothing to worry about. -

Thing is, these files are already in the wild, so the point is moot. -
I'm sure he knew exactly what he was doing.

I know many will disagree, but comparing a new cartridge to a 30-30 doesn't impress me. A 30-30 totally sucks, IMHO, for anything beyond 150-200 yards due to the heavy bullet which drops like a rock after 100 yards. The 300Blk is compared to the 30-30 too, but is geared toward subs, this one says no subs. Just not enough there for me.

I won't go into those countries either, and I can pass for a local; as a matter of fact I spent time there officially. I wouldn't try to walk through some of the Chicago neighborhoods on a Saturday night, hell I won't go into Lincoln Homes here in Clarksville for that matter, and I am sure there is no travel warnings about them.

Does Tennessee need a Soccer team and new stadium??
Omega replied to bersaguy's topic in General Chat
They just need to do something with it now that they got rid of their gun show cash cow. Tax payers, that's who, and forget trying to get anywhere in Nashville in a timely manner on the weekends. -
Are you serious? That place is right on the northeast border of that happy place we call the Afghanistan, and just north of Pakistan. Hell any "stan" is a place to stay away from if you are an American. And while they were not specifically high on the "do not go" list, there is no way I'd go anywhere in that region on any kind of vacation. https://www.euractiv.com/section/central-asia/news/tajikistan-attack-reminds-of-islamist-terror-threat-in-central-asia/

I just find it difficult to have sympathy for folks like that, when men, women and children are dying over there due to no fault of their own, not to mention our troops that pay the ultimate sacrifice to attempt to bring safety to those regions. Don't get me wrong, I find no joy in their deaths, and do consider their killers the bad actors in this, but just like those idiots that intentionally cross into wild animal enclosures, like the hippo slapper, if they die in the attempt, I'll not shed a tear. Call me cold hearted if you will, but sympathy is hard to come by for those folks.

Maybe not 100% him, and maybe not the entire economy, but this says that at least during his tenure he hasn't done it any harm: https://money.cnn.com/2018/08/22/investing/bull-market-longest-stocks/index.html https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/unemployment-rate https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001?output_view=net_1mth If up to this point, that is all they have on him...I say let him run with the ball.

It's not a stretch, IMHO, to consider the headline true. And one thing that I've noticed is that SNOPES leans so far left they're in danger of falling over. I had considered them to be fairly honest in their investigation once upon a time, but as time went on, well, not my first choice at fact checking.
