I think it's due to all the media attention and BLM movement instead of the actual facts of the case.

In that decision, they stated a police officer may not shoot a fleeing perp to apprehend him (ruled against the police force). In this case, he was not shot to apprehend him, he was shot because he presented a danger to the officer.
-
There is nothing, even in the video, to contradict the officers statement. So if he indeed turned, with the gun, it could have been seen as a threat.
-
Umm, yea I just said the same thing.
-
That does not apply here IMO, he was not shot due to fleeing, he was shot because he did not drop his weapon when told to and presented a clear and present danger to the officer and society at large.

That there is one of those fast and furious rifles, the feds want nothing to do with it.
-
I like it, there are enough old rifles out there, so reworking a few is kind of cool.
-
Ok, so are we talking male or female? Because this whole he/she BS is confusing as all get out.
-
My condolences, though we all know it will come it doesn't make it any easier when it does.

I'm good, I have enough LC FMJ 7.62x51, and berdan cases.

Yea, but they make good bottle openers.

That is one thing that bugs me a bit, how is it on the guy to know someone is underage on a site like that, or say a bar or other establishment in which you must be at least 18 to be on/in? Not saying in this case he didn't know, but some of those girls look way older than they are. -

Maybe they've seen the light??? Nah, I'm sure they can justify them having guns while still demanding ours. -
The picture story, is wrong: https://www.dallasnews.com/news/crime/2018/09/09/internet-wrong-botham-jean-officer-amber-guyger-didnt-pose-together-photo

In that case, the signs suck.
-
My understanding is that no money will be spent to remove the signs, but carry is legal unless one of the exclusions exist.

I can see her not knowing him, and those entrances look identical: https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/community/dallas/article218068660.html And in the way this is written, I can see how it could have happened that way. She, IMHO, is still liable, but I can see how anyone could have made the same mistake. https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/community/dallas/article218154635.html

They are good, I used to fish them quite often. Them and hybrids, taste the same to me, are abundant in the places I used to fish.

Safety Reminder- warning, very graphic pictures

I searched her name, she posts some gruesome pics, but it seems many are not her own pics so she may be getting second-hand info. But, seeing as these are during surgery, it may be that the cleaning of the wound, removing damaged tissue, is what we are looking at. -
Just waiting for the next prairie dog, or German..whatever.

I've read, no experience, that they are good for 12 years or so, then they have to be recertified, then every 5 years. I was looking to get a larger tank to keep at my hunting location, to use instead of the regular ones on my travel trailer, but most used ones I found were older and didn't want to mess with the recertification.

I can see loosing a hand due to damage, but looking at the picture it just seems like too much for a ND. I would think that it would be a clean hole with maybe some damage from the muzzle blast. -

Seems like too much damage to be a gunshot, at least at close range, I might believe a kaboom, but not a ND.
