Not glad she is gone, but I for one am glad to hear it wasn't due to OD, or some other self-inflicted reason. Sounds like she lived a long fruitful life.

I think that's the mantra of every church regardless of denomination. But with CoS they beam you up.

There is always another level, but even if you happen to reach the top, they will still ask for money. So not having to upgrade will not mean they will not accept further donations.

Need help finding a product for my AR Uppers!

Looks like a shipping plug https://www.cflgunandtactical.com/Renegade-Plus-Upper-762X39MM-p/00912-7.62x39.htm -
Those Harbor Freight ones work ok, I have used them before. The only drawback is that the little light needs to be covered to not give them away and you have to be there to know when they go off. Do you have wifi in the house? I bought some Yi cameras for $35 off Amazon (Now $50): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076BL7JVS they work great, you can set them to alert your phone, send you short videos and can take a pic/video at will or when they sense motion. These are indoor ones and need a plug, but I suppose they can be housed in a water proof/resistant housing if needed but I got the Blink Cameras https://www.amazon.com/Blink-Home-Security-Detection-Included/dp/B071YPNMN1 for outdoors but they are much more expensive, but they are battery operated (or corded if you want).

Let’s discuss rechargeable flashlight batteries & chargers
Omega replied to DaveTN's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
While I like the concept of rechargeable batteries, I prefer using disposable ones, for the mere simplicity of being able to change batteries on the fly and being able to afford to have a few on-hand. I've also not had good luck with rechargeable batteries, they don't hold a charge as long as my lithium 123 batteries and don't work as good either, so I stick with my multi surefire flashlights. -
No, not born in the ghetto, but also didn't grow up anywhere near middle class. I joined the Army at 18, knowing dang well my only other options were prison or death, yea a rough neighborhood. The big difference is that my mom tried to teach me right from wrong, and my friends mother pushed me in the right direction as well. Many of my friends had parents that, well, were as bad as their kids and looking back, am glad I left as I only know of one friend that made it out, yea, the one with the mother that helped me too. The stats support what I always say, you put enough people of one race into a group and they will kill each other. Not many whites mix with blacks in the ghetto, those that do must be as bad or worse to survive or become one of the outliers in those crime stats. The only fix I can see working is from the inside, parents need to control their kids, however they need to, and break away from the something for nothing mentality and show their kids that working for what they get is a much better solution than dealing drugs, robbing and stealing.

Probably due to the attempted assault that made it a felony.

I had seen a report once testing a bunch of old body armor material, Kevlar, if I remember right, held up the best over time. I've done the same to a few old level IIIA panels, with 5.56 and 9mm it stopped the 9mm, and a few 5.56, but barely.

And here I thought it was just mine. My godfather gifted me a sporterized one, and it's recoil sure is stout. I keep it for sentimental reasons, but it's a safe queen. It needs a elevator for the rear sight but haven't bothered to look for one.

I always bushhog the trails and spray my hunting blind for wasps a few weeks before deer season. I pulled up to the blind only to be stung quite a few times. Luckily I had already prepped the sprayer, so I managed to kill most, if not all the nest. Now I tread lightly and keep an eye out for nest to do preemptive strikes when needed.

Yea, a very surprising find. I know it was Garand ammo because of the clips. There were a few that I pulled, worst ones, to check the powder, but all were fine. I scraped the loose corrosion off, and put them into the tumbler. I still have one full clip, no worse for wear.

I threw a bunch of M1 30/06 into one without issues, all fired just fine and some had significant corrosion as I found them in a pond.

Yes, it was.

Yup, I have a few PSA uppers, and a couple lowers which all run good. I like mine in 300Blk, but mine is 10.5", but that shouldn't make much difference. I would hurry though, those sales don't last long before they run out.

I don't hear any Automobile company insurers refusing to underwriting their risk. And with all these safety recalls, for things that caused injuries and deaths which have more risk than any NRA insured products, nobody has sent the insurance and banking industries any memos.
-
I think it started with Carry Guard, but the linked PDF is pretty straight forward IMO in telling NY companies to cut ties with the NRA and other Gun related business/organization.
-
Seems a tactic that all the, Dicks, Yeti, Bank of America etc, corporations are using to cut the supply line and financial services to gun manufacturers and other related businesses. It would be a good business venture to start a Gun Owners Credit Union, Store Franchise and other 2A supported businesses. Would anyone bank at a NRA Credit Union, Get an NRA Home/Auto Insurance policy, shop at the NRA Sporting Goods store??

A big win for Defense Distributed!
Omega replied to gregintenn's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I think any part of a weapon, be it a magazine, barrel, trigger etc, should not have any limits placed on it. That is one strategy some of the left is trying, and succeeding in some places, with ammo. But the 3d cat is out of the bag, and there is nothing the .gov can do about it. Just like they tried to do to Phil Zimmermann with Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) when he allowed free download of some very good encryption software. They took him to court, but in the end the code was placed on foreign servers, tweaked to use open source algorithm and the .gov dropped their case with no charges, and changed their regs.
