I can kind of see their point. There is a fine line on what can be seen as a straw purchase and having the one that does the background check pay is one way to insure that they do not violate the rule of law. When a gun is given to someone, it is still the purchaser that gets his/her background checked, not the one that is gifted the gun. When my daughter gave me a Rugger Mark III , I went with her, ran my BG AND paid, so there would be no real or perceived issues. Because many gun laws are not real clear, many places choose to err on the side of caution.

I just can't keep up with it, by the time I'm done typing, the conversation has moved on.

Pretty sure it supports the iMac, but not sure on the other two. Not much of an Apple fan.

Wait, if you're using Firefox on a pc, I think you have add-ons that will present the text to you in any color you wish. This is why I used it on my pc, that and the pop-up blockers. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/collections/nfroidure/wysiwyg/

Yea, same here in Clarksville nice and clear all the way through the entire 3 or so hours. I also took my glasses off for the total portion, then a bright sliver as bright as a flash slipped through and back to the glasses.

Don't change on my account, I just highlight the text to read it.

I have a question, I've been seeing a few posts with dark text that almost disappears on the dark background. @MP5_Rizzo, can you enlighten me on what font color, browser you used to see if it's me or the forum? On my end, I'm viewing this on my tablet with chrome, but it does this on explorer on my work pc as well.

I don't know about others, but I don't find her particularly attractive. So personally, I'd pass on any show.

Blue loctite should be fine, having said that, I didn't use any for years and never had an issue on any of my rifles. Just tighten each screw snug at first then tighten in a cross pattern to keep from warping the mounts.

I liked the nice temp drop.

To boresight, bolt actions without a laser, I pull the bolt and look through it while in a cradle or lead sled and aim it at a reference point. Then, without moving the rifle I move the crosshairs to the reference point.

I've always mounted my own, even before the internet except when the place I bought my rifles offered free installation. Nowadays, YouTube can walk you through a few ways to do it, with minimal tools. Now, if the new weapon will be something to compete with, it may be worth taking it in.

They all moved to my backyard. I haven't hunted squirrels in quite some time, but I may have to cull a few out back. I have two large black walnut trees, one in the back and one out front, the squirrels leave a mess everywhere with the nuts. I have to get me a good air rifle, while there is no law against shooting here, I don't want any issues.

Ironic isn't it?

When transporting a gas grill in your SUV, make sure the gas is off.

It's better, more expensive, but better to make your own valve. I refill my bottles for a heater I use while hunting, I refill from my 20lb cylinders which saves me a whole bunch each season. The DIY valve has a shutoff valve which lets you keep the large cylinder upside down until all bottles have been refilled. -

I could never own one of those, being retired military I just can't look past K.I.A. -
I noticed that the forecast a week or two ago looked gloomy, but a couple news stations are now saying that there is just a small chance of cloudiness. I just have to wonder if that is true or if they have been instructed to tone down the forecasts. If they predict higher probabilities of overcast during the event, I bet more reservation cancelations will happen.

Oh, it gets better, I hope they took the extra insurance: https://www.clickorlando.com/news/propane-tankexplodesin-suv-whenpassenger-lights-cigarette-police-say AND, don't have any warrants when you blow up your rented SUV. -
Yea, I understand your feelings, I don't agree, but understand. But the thing is, without the special tax on hunters and outdoorsmen (Pittman-Robertson Act) many conservation projects would suffer.

Film it next time.

I don't think NK posses any danger, nuke wise to the US, even Guam. The danger there is China and Russia, but IMHO only if we strike first. As to my screen name, it's not as ominous as all that. Last name starts with O, and many of my troops, and supervisors had trouble pronouncing it so they just called me Sgt O, when another O showed up, he was shorter than me so they started calling me Big O, so when I started doing things online I chose Omega [O (mega)], because I thought it sounded better than Big O.
-
So are they taking one for the team? Or is it really a trigger issue? Sounds fishy.
-
Yea, but like horseshoes and hand grenades, with nukes close is good enough. Even if the nuke misses by a mile it would be not only locally devastating, it would be the start of a massive retaliation that may escalate into a nuclear winter the likes of which have yet to be seen.

Not a Club kinda guy so ok, but I rarely get out to Nashville, I hate that traffic. Anywhere past that and I have to have a heck of a reason to venture that far.
