^Similar here When I first started buying/collecting I was all over the place, I had pistols in .38 .357 9mm .40 .45 .22 and even a little .25acp Now, I do have 2 Glock 17s and 2 Glock 19s But all my firearms now are 9mm, 5.56, .308, and 12ga thats it, thats all I'll buy

I too have a daughter who has grown up around firearms, she is 14 now, so I have 4 more years left to ponder this same question. My kid has never given me any reason to doubt her judgment in any way, and had been competently shooting pistols and long guns now for over 5 years (almost 10 years by the time she graduates HS). So, it would never be her I would worry about, its other people's less than intellectual children I worry about. Does she, generally speaking, associate with good kids?

I've got Sigs and I've got Glocks (even an XDM in there somewhere)... I love my 229 Legion, and 3rd gen Smith... LOVE THEM. But I carry a striker fired XDS, I can tell without even holding it that is a nope for me, I hate where Springfield is going with this "Mod 2/grip zone" crap.

I love 3rd gen Smith's The first handgun I shot was my father's issued 5906, I love that gun. After my first 21 year old purchase of a Glock 17, I purchased a LNIB 5906. I grew up shooting that gun, its the first gun my now 14 year old ever shot, and the same will follow suit with my other 2 kids..

Ive carried my XDS 9mm now for a little over a year, I sold my Shield after buying the XDS and have not looked back. I wouldn't call it a "micro" gun, that term is more suited to something along the lines of the LCP. With the standard magazine I have found it very comfortable to carry all day at work (in an automotive shop) And I can shoot it comfortably for extended periods of time without discomfort, and accurately too.

I'm probably not doing myself any favors.... But, I just have it laying out, Ive got boxes on shelves in my master BR closet, I have a few thousand in ammo cans, I have a few thousand on the floor of my basement closet, I have 9mm ammo in open boxes under my clothes in a drawer..... I just put it where ever.. I also rotate though, when I buy a bunch, I shoot a bunch so... theres that

Between having a daughter in sports, and my hobby with quadcopters, Ive picked up a GoPro Hero Session 5. Its very light/compact, has excellent controls, and I love being able to connect with and control it via my phone.
