  1. Courtney Love ?? Lmao. Missed that one. Only "debris" I see her spotting involves a mirror, razor, and a straw. If we are talking about the former Mrs. Cobain
  2. Just so no one misses it and shares my pain, abc news reporting @ 3:30 est this morning that debris has been found off the shores of Australia. They are fairly certain about it because they spent 28 minutes REPEATING THE SAME DAMN LINE !!. LOL.....More as it develops :)
  3. Good to hear so many fellow TGO'ers have kicked one BAD habit. 4 years for me coming up next week.  And just for giggles look up all those lovely ingredients in smokeless tobacco. I did after I quit just to see what I did to my body. WOW , lots of stuff in there I couldn't even spell or pronounce, lol.
  4. Didn't know him, couldn't care. BUT, after reading up on him one thing comes to mind. That old skit from snl i think it was, with Jim Carrey as an angry office worker telling everyone that speaks to him "I'll see you in hell". Of course the end of the skit shows him arriving in hell and sure enough, there they are, lol.
  5. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/4976382 Well you Guinness drinkers will be happy to know your favorite brew maker won't stand for the mistreatment of their LGBT consumers either. Geeze !!!
  6. The new way of fishing I'm afraid.   Seems nothings safe to eat anymore unless you raise it yourself or kill it in the wild (deer, turkey, duck, etc)
  7. Bingo. All I needed to do was recite Sesame Street "one of these things is not like the other" hahaha
  8. They've been pulling this one for a while. Not long ago I stumbled across what i thought was a helluva deal. One of my "if I won the lottery" purchases would be a 1958 Plymouth Fury a.k.a. Christine. Guy listed one on Craigslist in Texas. Not a movie car, but a 58 none the less. Well the asking price wasn't stupid cheap , so cheap it screamed scam. Car looked decent, several different shots, engine, interior, etc. Well I contacted the guy and for several days we talked back and forth and any requests for more pics were answered without hesitation. It soon got to the point of payment. And thats when I went into paranoid mode, lol. I like my money, and parting with it ain't easy . To shorten up this yarn guy claimed to be a marine in Iraq and woukd be using ebay to transact the deal. That way we both we be covered. Not buying that BS I started searching to see if there was a 58 for sale elsewhere and he just stole the pics. Turns out a guy in Idaho was restoring one and had posted the progress pics on a mopar forum. Lmao.... Crooks, not as dumb as they appear....
  9. Doesn't look too underpowered to me. Look what it did to the bill on the passenger's hat
  10. Wish you were in east tn, my father's always wanted to ride in one of these and a Ford GT 40 or the newer GT
  11.   Agreed.   I would have no issue with driving a blemished GTS !
  12.   The story I heard said FIAT was having them destroyed . Sounded like they were just covering their a**,lol.   Especially with GM's decade lapsed blunder of forgetting to tell owners about an ignition "key falls out and you die"  issue !   And whatever you do don't mention "the children" . Otherwise they'll be saved, then auctioned off, only to see that money go to a third world country where Angelina just got back with 2 more adoptee's :stunned:
  13. I am 2 miles past BFE and my neighbor got in trouble for a range on his own property. 60+ acres, a backstop, h*ll he even dug out his own berm, lol.   But one nagging neighbor down the street didn't care for the noise so he was reported for "noise pollution".   Point is it can happen anywhere.
  14. Just saw this on the morning news and wanted to vomit !! I wasn't concerned when I heard it yesterday because I assumed they were all GT models, which while still a Viper, doesn't get me as giddy as a GTS. Then what do I see getting scissored into pieces by the mouth of an excavator.... a GTS !!!
  15.   First new pic I've had in 16 years.HCP or DL either one. My latest renewal is the new style with the strip-UPC-code thing on the back of the card. That was the reason they gave me for the new pic.. Should have asked if it was ok to wear my berka and see what they said ,lmfao.
  16.   Well while that's not entirely out of the question I've ran the math and I am looking at $700-800 in travel cost. My original plan was to just take the truck up and have them load it into the bed. Then I find out they might not have access to a fork lift. But they have a dock, which by normal standards is usually about 6" higher than the tailgate of my truck. Tad too much to skee a 1,000# pallet off of,lol. But if I get desperate enough  :ugh:
  17. I went to the DMV and for whatever reason they wanted a new photo. I guess the old one wasn't ugly enough, lmao.   However, after mailing in past renewals and it taking forever to get back to me this time I had it back in a week and a 1/2 . Blew my mind !
  18.   I don't have anything but the free channels so you will have to fill me in on this one :squint:
  19. Thanks for the input everyone.   I knew I could count on you guys
  20. Anymore here in the business of hauling or moving freight ? I have a piece of equipment sitting in new jersey and need it shipped to the knoxville area. Its on a standard pallet. Not certain of weight but its at least 1,000 lbs. After using the ever handy google my mind melted from the number of joe bob places wanting to haul it, lol. So before I took a leap of faith with an unknown I wanted to see if I could help someone on here or at least get advice . Thanks in advance
  21.   The latest from this morning is it was the treasury dept.'s to begin with.   "We just had it stolen and it just happens to be the exact amount you have there" , lmao.   They ( the finders ) deserve everything the get from ol uncle sam. He's lathering up his chrome horn as we speak :)
  22. So did anyone see the latest on this story ?   http://www.newser.com/story/183252/source-of-buried-california-gold-century-old-heist.html?utm_source=part&utm_medium=united&utm_campaign=rss_topnews   2 things.   First, as posted above that BS line about ol miner forty niner burying them didn't win me over.   And second, the best kept secret is one where you NEVER TELL A FOOKING SOUL , LOL !!!!
  23.   x2   How is it that I always hear about these people that want to remain anonymous on the fooking nightly news !!!   After hearing the story this morning my guess is they were a collectors from long ago and were stolen only to be buried by the thief and the thief met an early demise and took the burial site to their grave.   Now whoever that was, he knew how to remain anonymous
