  1. Long distance telephone charges. I worked with a 25 yo man and had heard of long distance charges.

    Snow

    Where I use to work bought us Winter Walkers cleat like things to slip over our boots. They really help when walking on snow and ice. A lot of us are just one fall away from the nursing home.

  6. Just my 2 cents but Wilson sets the standard, I’ve never owned one, some call them semi custom . There are truly custom one gun one smith guns that have a waiting list of years. I lusted after a Wilson QBC on the classifieds here a month or so ago you may check it out.
  7. I’ve had Covid for the first time.Been about a week still have a stuffy head. Can’t complain I haven’t been sick in around 5 years.
  8. Since Grayfox bought it up, I just bought a Girsan MPC35 and am pleased with the quality and the way it shoots. I got mine off Gunbroker by the time I paid for everything taxes transfer fee and bought 2extra mags I was close to $700.00. It came with one mag. I got the full size match with straight trigger no mag safety.
  9. He needs to install Wilson shock buffers on all his pistols and use Wilson’s snake oil lube.
  10. Put it in the measuring tool drawer. Where I worked we had screw checkers, a metal plate with threaded holes for bolts and screws and thread pitch gauges. This type would be better for nuts.

  12. Mod 41 22pistol I have owned since the 70s, 5.5”bbl , box 5 mags. Not perfect tried to show condition in pictures, No trades, meet in Kingsport Tn.
  13. I have one without the break. It shoots just as good as my Glock 19. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. The only downside might be resale value but I guess you could sell about any decent pistol for $250.
  14. The Cz is big for my hand. I shot a high power probably 35 years ago and liked it and would like a sa 35 but I’m not willing to pay the price

  16. The newer red dots wake up when moved. The battery life is real long, if you are carrying a pistol you could replace the battery once a year. Most holsters will be cut low enough to clear the red dot. The next question is what size dot and how much you want to spend.

  18. I have a 28” modified barrel that has never been installed. I bought a gun 30 or so years ago and never tried the barrel 12 ga new condition $100 plus shipping. I am in Kingsport
  19. I hate to offend anyone but I am still using components I bought at Wideners in Johnson City and picked up in person. powder 8 lb $130 Cci primers $76 per 5000 Hardcast bullets $36 per 1000 I have an old catalog from 1999/2000.
  20. What size dot do you folks use , I talked to a neighbor who shoots competition and I think he said he used a 6 moa.
  21. MyRossi shoots both well. While it doesn’t have the prestige of other brands it suits me.
  22. I always take my S&W M&P compact that I carry and usually my Remington nylon 66. Also a 22 pistol lately my Taurus TX22
