  3. I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a FosTech Echo AR2. Other than having to have a FA bolt is their anything else to know? I'm more of a pistol guy but obviously any good gun nut has the mandatory ARs, AKs, etc. I have a Bushmaster i thought it would be perfect for. Any info or experience would be appreciated.
  4. Its my fault. All these years later and i still haven't figured out. It was supposed to be my STI Host.
  5. Very nice! Gotta love the FDE. I Just hit one year on my Obsession 9. If it ever shows up we need to go.
  6. I used John Welles as well, I believe it was around $250. Far as time just set up a meeting and it's done. I've never heard anything bad about the Nationalguntrust or the silencer shop trust but went with John because he came highly recommended.

You missed my birthday and Christmas! Giving is better than receiving and all that. Very nice old friend !
  8. I'll be giving you something to look at with all those cameras soon. Just make sure you look at the footage alone!
  9. I have always liked them and probably always will. I waited until I found one from Gallatin. When mine locked up and I sent it in I just assumed I would get another one from Gallatin. I'm all for them doing good. I got two free mags out of the deal. I lost my G model kit though.
  10. I never stopped, or maybe it's Just an addiction.
  11. You still have to give fingerprints but you only have to notify Cleo. It's the same either way you go on that I believe. Silencershop has made all of this way easier.
  12. John wells did mine, he's a member here. It depends on several different things but the main reason for me to go with a trust was so I could add family members.
  13. Thanks for the info. I recently picked one up and had been thinking about one of these. I have the trigger jig if anyone needs to borrow it.
  14. Would you turn yours in if they had not been stolen or lost in a boating accident? https://reason.com/2019/06/25/backers-of-a-federal-ban-on-gun-silencers-claim-only-criminals-use-them/
  15. With all the holes we have to jump through, the multiple background checks one with the FBI , surely to hell it won't be as easy as banning the bump stocks for them, witch was horse crap but whatever. I have them and I enjoy using them, especially my daughter shooting her 22. Trump Jr was all for cans when we had a chance on getting them off the list. Yes I know that doesn't mean anything about Daddy,.just saying. Unless you build something specifically to be super quite and use the right ammo you aren't going to be hiding from the cops sniping folks off, even with that probably not. They are a blast to use, I love shooting and they just make it better! Now I have to go get a few more in the works.
  16. I am going to be off topic but it was a big deal for me and I thought I should share. I wanted the M9A3 marked Gallatin and got it. About eight or nine hundred rounds in the gun completely locked up. Turns out the rails on the frame were the lug on the bottom of the barrel rides were off somehow, they curled in and locked up the barrel. I sent it back and a month later they sent me a brand new gun but from Italy. My case may have been a one-off but it's definitely something to look out for or keep an eye on it least.
  17. Congrats and welcome to the waiting club! Be careful, it very addictive.
  18. It's pistols only but The Gun Room has a nice and clean, well ventilated range.
