  1. How can you tell if it's a rebuilt title?  IS it clearly marked as such?
  2. They leave themselves too much wiggle room in that statement.  Even the gun banners say they support the Constitution!   That Sheriff's group out of Oregon said it best in their letter.  Come on, Tennessee!
  3. I paid 7.95 to use Tax Act online.
  4. Yep
  5. Pretty sure it's a Glock AK-47.
  6. Just finished VICTORY AT YORKTOWN, A Novel by Newt Gingrich and William R. Forstchen, Thomas Dunne Books. You may remember Forstchen, who also wrote, One Second After, and you all know Newt of course. It was the third in a trilogy about the Revolutionary War. Really makes one think about our history and how can one think about that without thinking about our present and he future of our country. Really a great read, actually all three were! Highly recommended!
  7. Not sure exactly what ya mean, but I access Netflix on the same account on my Apple TV, my Wii, and on my computer...
  8. David, are we (TGO) making money on these or just covering costs?  Either way is fine by me, I was just curious?  Same wuestion o the coins...Seems to me like a great way to augment what the site gets from Benefactors sales if it can be done at a reasonable cost.  The stickers are reasonable.
  9. I had some i got from TFA once...but they were handed out somewhere, not a link...I have a PDF file on my computer that you can print your own cards..one file is a sheet of the front side and the other is the back side.  They have the TFQ website printed on one side, but I cant seem to find them on the TFA website...PM me your e-mail address if you want me to e-mail what I have to you.
  10. Not trying to steal the thread, but I have a relevant question...what streaming devices seems to offer the most features, or at least streaming sources (channels)?  I have an Apple TV and i like some parts of it, but it seems limited on the free stuff.  Im looking to get another device for another room, and cant decide between a Smart blue ray,  Roko 2 or similar or whatever...also wonder if, since Im buying a new TV soon, if it would be smarter to buy a smart tv that might have this capability built in...decisions, decisions...lol.  Any recommendations?
  11. I like the idea.  I have several form my military days and a few civilian ones as well.  Don't carry them, but I do like to display them...
  12. Not only is Obama anti Israel, but anti American as well, obviously.  How can there be ANY doubt.  The Egyptian president regularly makes anti American speeches.   As far the Defense industry goes, I doubt they care who they sell to as long as they sell.  Stockholder opinion reigns.
  13. I have the FNP-45USG. I love it. Its big and bulky but i always come back to it.  I am used to carrying it so the size and weight does not bother me.  It shoots way better than I do.  It eats ANY ammo I've ran through it with zero problems.  I usually carry it and one spare mag  OWB on opposite sides. On the magazine side I also carry a flashlight so it is a little bit balanced...I also wear suspenders tho, because of the weight, and an Original S.O.E. Cobra belt.  Ive not had any problems with my gun ever.  Mine is the USG model, and it can be carried with one in the chamber and decocked, ready to fire DA then SA, or one in chamber and cocked and locked like a 1911.
  14. You would probably also be surprised at how many military members are NOT gun enthusisasts...I worked with guys who carried guns daily who didnt even OWN a gun...
  15. Yeah, Ive been reading that for a while now...found it when I was reading Adrians Undead Diary...What I like is TEOTWAWKI type fiction, but zombie stuff fits in that category too.
  16. Sad but I bet you are right.  I saw a similar bill in Wyoming that did, in fact, make it a felony there.  Different people though...wonder what the chances of getting ours passed here, and enforced after that?  I'm reminded of other bills I've seen here and elsewhere about sovereignty, but I think these were more resolutions rather than laws that carried penalties.
  17. Agree.  I have read of NDs by persons trying to reholster.  Many times when carrying a 1911, I have taken it out of the holster at night and discovered to my dismay that the safety was in the off position.  Since I carried cocked and locked, could have been tragic for me also if I had reholstered and something got in the way like a shirt tail or jacket...my thinking is thats less likely to happen with a holster thats easier to put the gun back in.
  18. Ride of the Valkyries, of course!
  19. I'd love to do that.  Coffee and guns go well together.  Several places up around Rivergate are good.
  20. I read it last year...better than the movie, but damn depressing, lol.
  21. Welcome. I'm a father of a middle schooler and I also hope you'll be carrying at work soon!
  22. I got the same, and here's MY reply to his reply:     Sir, "Consider any proposal" to keep our children safe?  Come on, Congressman.  Are you that out of touch with those you represent?  All of this hoopla about assault weapons and magazine capacity has absolutely NOTHING to do with keeping our children safe at all.     Despite our political difference, I never thought you wee unintelligent, just misguided.  Please don't insult my or anyone else's intelligence by pretending that any of this is for any reason other than the first step in circumventing the 2nd Amendment.   Why do we allow parking lots at bars, that enables people to drunk drive?  Why do we allow commercials on TV that promote eating unhealthy food that promotes obesity in children?  Why do we allow movies and video games that are chock full of graphic violence?  The list is endless...   If you truly want to do something, go after these things, Mr Congressman. But eventually you will run out of things to blame, then what?>  Or better yet, how about promoting self responsibility for people instead of blaming something or somebody else?  THAT'S a novel concept, isn't it?  Leave our 2nd Amendment alone!  The American people, and particularly Tennesseans, will draw a line in the sand over this issue. Get on the right side of it.   Sincerely,   John Alexander     "A veteran, whether active duty or guard or reserve, is someone who, at one part in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount up to and including their life."  "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C. S. Lewis (1898 - 1963)
  23. I think there is truth in the basic concept you propose. I doubt its absolute though.  Iphones pretty much work right out the box, with few exceptions do exactly whats advertised, and arent as easy to tinker with as Androids.   I used to carry 1911's (stlil own some) and carried an Android...now im carrying a FN 45 and an iphone.
  24. I got the 2nd Amendment response from Alexander.   Nothing really from Corker or Cooper. I agree, Lamar's has too much wriggle room.  They are all careful to not specify which weapons  are 2nd amendment, which is the way I think they will support a ban, by saying oh I support the 2nd Amendment, but just not AR style weapons, or large capacity magazines, etc...
  25. Thanks, guys, I am going to order the kit from CSS.
