  1. I want to walk into a local store and find the belt in my size on the rack, lol. I DESPISE ordering a fitted item online. Cant find one that I like AND in my size, lol. Found a Wilderness made one at the Outpost, with a Cobra made buckle that was awesome, but of course they didnt have one in my size.
  2. Interesting. This supports something I read recently, but from an opposite position, i.e. if YOU are the one that is shot, with a possibly fatal wound...can you continue the fight or not. The answer was that depending on the wound, you CAN possibly continue the fight...the scenario was one where you are protecting your family and are wounded, fatally. The article, which I can't remember where I read it :-( , talked about the psychological aspects as well, and how the human body, even in the face of some fatal wounds, CAN continue to function if the mind demands it to. Granted a fatal wound is a fatal wound, but the fact that one has been shot does not NECESSARILY mean that one has to immediately lay down and die. The fight may be possibly continued, giving you the opportunity to kill the BG before he harms your family. It went on to quote various documented cases, where sometimes a person just gave up and collapsed and some didnt. I wish I could remember where the article was so I coulld share it, because it actually specified just how many seconds the body could continue to operate at full steam, even after a lethal wound, for long enouigh to nullify the threat...
  3. I'm interested in upgrading my sights. Not sure exactly what I want, but do want something that will be easier to see and acquire both at night and daytime...Ideas?
  4. We are going to Disney in March. Not altogether sure what all we are doing yet, but we are getting our tickets at Ft Campbell. Will do at leqast the Park Hopper plan. Our hotel provides a full breakfast and has a microwave in the room, so we may eat breakfast and most evening meals in the room and eat at the parks just for lunch for a family of four. What do y'all who have been recommend we do as far as meals go?
  5. Many people on here and elsewhere keep telling me that they won't be able to do anything, but this crap scares me.
  6. Yes, I love that show!
  7. Here's my gun room
  8. It's nothing less than income redistribution. There's a whole segment of society that simply chooses not to work. I'm not talking about those who have fallen on hard times, but about those who just make a choice to live off of somebody else's hard work. I support my family. I also give to charity. Perhaps I could give more to charity, but I don't like the government just taking my money and giving it to someone who wont work. I know many people who get back every penny they pay in for what little work they do plus get a couple three grand extra! It's beyond unfair, its outright socialism and if we don't do something about it, it will only get worse until we collapse economically.

I love the feel of my FNH-45 in my hand...fells so...right...
  10. Did you get to go to the Shot Show? I wonder if they debuted the KSG there...
  11. WOW! That was funny.. When I was in England back in the 70's and 80's he was part of a television comedy team called, "The Two Ronnies". I love English humour.
  12. I heard him on the Michael Savage radio show. Sounds no worse than the rest.
  13. I'll probably be there.
  14. Ditto! I used to like the RK shows, but the one I went to in Franklin last month has to be one of the worst Ive been to of any gun show. Don't wanna experience that again.
  15. Thats what I did at Thule Air Base in Greenland, lol, in a 4wd Chevy Surburban with filled sandbags in the back, lol. It's one sure way to learn the vehicles capabilities as well as your own!
  16. while looking in the rear view while applying makeup to her face, lol.
  17. Good advice. I'm from TN but when in the military lived all over and have driven in the snow in Europe, way up nside the Arctic Circle of northern Greenland, upstate New York, Michigan's Upper Penninsula...and I have to say that caution and practice are key. I've driven both 2WD and 4WD in snow and its the same...just take it easy and watch out for the other guy who aint!
  18. I like that.
  19. I have one I bought from another TGO member last year, and sometimes use it to carry my PF-9. The rig tends to travel, and I havent played around with the various adjustments yet as I have no instructions on that. I bought the add on tie downs for both sides, but not sure that I dont also need to make other adjustments to make it more stable.
  20. Well since we now have a "tracks" thread, lol, I found the below tracks on top of a wall at my work. They have probably been there a while, and I was thinking they may be from a raccoon, but I'm not sure. Also, I work in MetroCenter, so I thought this was odd, lol. Anyone confirm they are raccoon? 21. Do you use the optional belt tie downs with your rig?
  22. HA!
  23. I havent heard much bad about them. I bought a hard to find stock for an old .22 on there last year. They ended up charging me the $1.00 verification fee twice, but when I complained I found out that it was my fault as I had stupidly submitted the info twice. They didn't refund the money but I was figured that my "stupid" tax, as Dave Ramsey like to say, lol. The stock transaction went well and was as advertised.
  24. Yeah, I loved this one too.
