  1. Do you have any idea how durable cerakote is? One of my 1911s came with that from Sig, and I just wonder if it will last a long time.
  2. I really like Bersa, but in her case Id say the .38. Racking the slide on a semi auto can be a chore for some people.
  3. I used to get their e-mails and I am also curious if membership is worth it?
  4. How were you going to stretch out the trigger guard? Also, how do you like the Ruger compared to the Keltec?
  5. Who was it that warned of the danger of trading liberty for security?
  6. But how is this part fair? The second robber, Jevontai Ingram, then 14, fled. Ingram pulled out a gun inside the pharmacy but did not fire it, according to testimony. He was caught days later. He has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for his role in his friend's death. He will be released from a juvenile detention facility before his 19th birthday if he completes a treatment plan. 7. Thanks. It fits the hand really good. Thew grips are unlike any others I've seen. This from Sig's web site describes it/them better: AMERICAN INGENUITY MEETS EUROPEAN REFINEMENT The legendary 1911 design has been brought into the 21st century with the refinement today’s shooters demand. The SIG SAUER® 1911 proves that close tolerances equal complete reliability and need not be incompatible in an off-the-shelf pistol. SIG SAUER has introduced clean, distinct lines that American shooters have embraced, while retaining the crisp trigger pull, classic ergonomics, and exceptional accuracy they expect. The 1911 Scorpion is truely unique, from its desert tan Cerakote® coated stainless frame and slide. Complete with a 5.0 lb SAO trigger, 8 round magazine, and low-profile night sights. The 1911 Scorpion features Hogue's innovative Magwell Grip Set. The advanced design combines grip plates and main spring housing in an integrated magazine well extension that promotes rapid magazine changes. Manufactured from G10, the Magwell Grips provide strength and light weight in a highly functional assembly. The grips feature Hogue's Piranha texture for excellent retention in any environment and come in a multi-layer green and black pattern that accents the Scorpion's Cerakote Flat Dark Earth finish.
  8. Around here you pretty much have to get to the gun shops shortly after delivery, lol, unless you can get them to order one for you.
  9. Keltec will send you a free replacement barrel. I got my barrel in today's mail after e-mailing them earlier this week. GOOD customer service.
  10. Well, look at it this way...millions of women, all across America, will have an extra hour during the day for housework!
  11. Y'all like this better than the colt M4 .22?
  12. I like to go and look. I've never bought a gun there, usually buy mine in a private sale or from a local small dealer. But I like to go anyways. I sometimes will buy something small or a holster or something that catches my eye. I can't help it, I LIKE GUNS, lol.I go and look at them, fondle a few, etc...
  13. Are you tired of it yet? lol.
  14. Well, mine's in my safe, lol. I think they got the bugs worked out. Mine runs just fine. Only type of ammo I've fed it is CCI maxi mags tho. Production is the big issue. Guns just aren't Keltec's priority, I believe big ontracts for something to do with aerospce is their bread and butter. They had this same issue when their RFB came out, and I bet it will be the same with the KSG later on. I hope those dealers that are gouging folks for the PMR don't do the same with the KSG. I got mine for a reasonable price I thnk. Way less than I see them for online.
  15. Cafe Bustelo Expresso Coffee...mmmm
  16. When I lived in England, if you ordered a whiskey n the local pub, you got scotch. The only choice was was brand. They liked our stuff, they just didnt consider it whiskey and didnt usually stock it duie to the high costs and even higher taxes.

    New toy....SR1911

I think it's like the bindi dot on Asian Indian women's foreheads...you can peel it off to see if you won a convenience store, motel or Subway shop!
  18. Ma, sorry you don't like it. I love mine! The strap isn't great for extended carry, but I only carry mine to and from the car for the most part. I took off the small strap and just use the bigger one, throw it over my shoulder and go. My ONLY issue is I think i need something bigger, which is why I am interested in an Operator style like you have....
  19. No, you were right, OP does, I hijacked, my bad. Sorry.
