  1. My most recent purchase is a Mike's Special inside the waistband holster from TT Gunleather for my Sig P320 Compact. Hoping to receive it sometime during the first week or two of November.
  2. Let's see how long we can keep this going. Post the last firearm-related thing that you bought. Could be a gun, could be an accessory. Post a picture with if it if you can, otherwise just tell us what it was. Feel free to share a link.
  3. Six months to render approval is ridiculous.

    Titans

BersaGuy, thank you for sharing that. I'm glad that you felt comfortable enough to give us a glimpse into something as important in your life as that.
  5. That thing looks wicked. What's the cost going to be like on them?

    Titans

My wife and I have stopped watching NFL ball games. Between the Titans just sucking as bad as they ever have, and the petulant behavior of the players protesting the country that enables them to live in luxury, we've just given up on it entirely. We've started watching collegiate football more and find ourselves slowly becoming Vols fans. Never thought I'd say that.
  7. Welcome back to Tennessee. What part of the West were you in?
  8. UPDATE 10/11/2016 @ 6:30AM Central Hey folks. You're going to notice some periods today while the site is offline for maintenance. I'm still making some changes to optimize the server to support our traffic, and some of the changes require short outages.
  9. I have a stack of these that I run with my Glock 19. No problems. Ever. Over 2,000 rounds spread across a dozen of them to date. I am confident enough to use them as carry mags.
  10. Fantastic photos and thumbs up for taking some heat along with you. My wife and I visited Sedona a few years ago and we really need to go back. For exactly the reasons you showed in your pictures. There is just nothing to compare to it anywhere else.
  11. UPDATE 10/7/2016 @ 6:20AM Central The search index rebuild completed yesterday morning sometime between 6:00AM and 10:00AM. This morning I made a few small tweaks to the database engine. At this point it is about making minor changes, waiting, and gauging results. During our non-peak times the speed is blistering fast. During peak times, it isn't bad but I think it could be better. I'm working on closing the gap between peak and non-peak.
  12. UPDATE 10/6/2016 @ 6:10AM Central Search index rebuild is still going. Currently at about 60%. By now searching should show you recent threads, but older threads may not be showing up yet in a search. This will continue to improve as we approach 100%.
  13. UPDATE 10/5/2016 @ 10:30PM Central Some of the slowness that we have been experiencing has been tracked back to corruption in the SEARCH database table. I am rebuilding the search index now, but this process takes a while to complete. As a consequence, you may find that search results, including the search for new content, may be limited for a few hours. More to come.
  14. Eh... I think I just fixed it. @Omega Can you confirm?
  15. It seems to be limited to the default TGO Theme. If you switch to the "TGO Darker" theme it works. This tells me there's a bug in the theme code, so I'll dig into that as soon as I have time.
  16. Hadn't noticed that. Will check into it.
  17. Thanks for spending some time looking at the server with me today. So far, so good!
  18. UPDATE 10/2/16 @ 8:00PM Central Folks, I cannot apologize enough. The switch to the new server has been one frustration after another. Performance is not what it should be and I am near the limit of my knowledge as relates to tuning it and tweaking it to accommodate our normal workload. I am investigating other options right now, including hiring someone to either go through our current server and tune it up, or to build a new one for us that is optimized to handle the load. Please continue to be patient with me.
  19. Since moving most of our file storage to Amazon, I have been able to open up more space for our members to upload file attachments. While the preferred method of inserting photos into posts is to link from a photo-hosting service like SmugMug, PhotoBucket, TinyPic, etc. we realize that some folks do not want to go through the hassle of that, especially if they just want to post something for sale in the Trading Post. I strongly urge you to edit your photos offline and make them no more than 1600 x 1200 pixels in size as that is generally more than adequate for displaying on a web page, and makes wise use of the storage allocated to you. A single unedited 7-megapixel photo from an iPhone can be as large as 12MB! A photo edited down to 1600 x 1200 pixels us usually less than 800KB, or 15 times smaller. The smaller the photo, the more of them you can store in the same amount of space. The following lists the current amount of space allocated to a member based on what type of membership they have: 2MB .... Standard Member 10MB ... Benefactor 10MB ... Vendor 20MB ... Lifetime Benefactor 20MB ... Premier Sponsor These allocations may adjust over time as situations change with our hosting arrangement. You can always refer back to this thread for the latest allocations. I will update this any time I update the settings.

  20. My family agrees with this sentiment. They're tired of seeing me in front of the computer all evening fighting with this.
  21. UPDATE 10/1/16 @ 8:45AM Switched database engines to something supposedly a little faster. Tweaked PHP caching a bit. Fingers crossed.
  22. That would make sense on a tablet that only connects by wifi, but a person using a phone or a tablet with a radio for a wireless carrier would only need to drop off of their company wifi and hit the wireless signal in order to get to TGO.
  23. Trust me, Mac... I was seeing them in realtime. I do appreciate it though. I'm frankly surprised it was even able to get that 503 error out with the server load as high as it was.
  24. You're visiting at the right times because sadly there have been quite a few times lately where despite all of the efforts I've made to speed it up and keep it stable, things were anything but. I am still working on it very diligently.
  25. I've had it with Tapatalk!!! Three hours spent tonight trying to pull the server back under control while that piece of #### software was hammering the CPU. I've completely deleted it from the server at this point. I really hope that those of you who rely on it so heavily will just give the native IPBoard mobile skin a try. As much as I hate to lose a few members over Tapatalk, I can't lose the whole forum because of it. Sorry.
