Bill Goodman show comes to Lebanon 2017
Tedro2022 replied to seez52's topic in Events and Gatherings
Happy to have it out here in Lebanon, seeing as I just moved out here 7 months ago! [emoji6][emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I'm definitely in for one of those! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was the actress that plays Machonne who said it on The Talking Dead. I believe she was asked point blank how much time had past and her answer was two months. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I love watching the show, never read the comic and think maybe the simplest solution to all this would be for someone to start a separate thread on the comic and how it relates to the show. That way those who don't want to read the spoilers wouldn't if they were posted in another thread. Dunno, just my $.02. Take it for what it's worth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I missed it during the live broadcast, but the clip they have embedded at the bottom of that article does show a vehicle pulling up a split second before the explosion obscures the view. That would be an interesting turn of events for sure. While I like Daryl's character, it would damage their ratings for sure if he got clipped. Can't be too sure that I'd keep watching if Daryl weren't there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

WSF works great for me on 9mm and .40. Seems to be more consistent for me than Titegroup too [emoji848] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Couldn't have happened to a nicer kid... He was past being on my nerves. GOODNIGHT CARL! You suppose this makes Rick turn into whiny, snively Rick again like after the wife died? Edit: Never-frickin-mind. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wrong thread, I know, but what's up with the tumblers, anybody know? Anywho, back to the topic at hand, I'd pay the extra toward the principle of the home loan every month if you can afford it. Whether it's going to be your retirement home or not doesn't matter, you either pay it off quicker or have more principle in it if you decide to sell before you retire. Win/win to me. If you have the extra cash, save up a down payment for a large track of land that could be used as an investment property. A good real estate agent will be able to turn you on to this. There are plenty of other things you can do to invest the rest of it, start a business, invest in gold, silver or other precious metals, or start stock piling goods for that rainy day. Bullets, beans & band aids right? While on that note, invest in yourselves. Training is the easiest way to better yourself. Learn everything you can from shooting classes, medical classes, etc. never stop bettering yourself and your mind. Just my .02, take it for what it's worth. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Does he love his wife? If she's the one driving it on the regular, tell him to replace it for her sake. If there's something wrong with my car, I fix it as soon as I can afford to. If there's something wrong with my wife's car, it gets replaced ASAP. Keeping the Mrs safe is priority #1. Always Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I thought about doing this with my Crossbreed Snap Slide. Might have even tried it once. It doesn't ride close enough to the hip for my liking, but I carry it daily anyway. As I continue to lose weight I'll have to get a Supretuck to keep from buying new pants though. I think that's the most frustrating thing about carrying a pistol, pants size matters!!! Had a big scare the other day that forced me to make some changes

Sounds like it may be a friend of the family. Would explain why the van is still around, and why nothing was missing from the house. Could be wrong. It's happened before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Depending on what kind of roof you had in mind, you could do a metal roof and mix in some of the plastic pieces that keep it pretty lit during the day. My father did that in his pole barn back in Arkansas and its held up really well, and lights the barn up really well during the day with the doors closed (think winter). I re-upped for another year earlier this month. I enjoy the forum and the knowledge that you fine fellows impart on me when I have questions. Being able to look through the classifieds and list some things on occasion (have some scopes and other things I've been meaning to get out of the safe that will go up soon) is helpful as well. Special thanks to TGO David and the moderators for all their hard work in keeping this a great place for all of us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
You and me both... Now, how do I pitch this to the wife??? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Further more what does this petition do? The wording is vague and doesn't suggest specific action or desired outcome. I'll pass on signing this one. Had a conversation with a coworker and friend today, I'm happy with the amount of firearms I own so if I can't ever buy anymore I could be ok with it (I'd get pissed, don't get me wrong, but after the dust settled it'd be whatever). As long as I could still put ammo in the ones I have, and press my own ammo I'd be fine. Of course there are a few guns on the want list but right now there are other priorities. Such is life. My wife and I joke that our pit bull watches us in the kitchen while cooking so that she can do it on her own one day. We also joke that she wishes that she had thumbs because there's so many things that she wishes she could do on her own. The border collie wishes he had them too, I'm certain. He just wouldn't know what to do with them. :D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sig P229 in the nightstand with a light on it. H&K USP compact in the safe, carry a 4th Gen Glock 23 every day. The 229 is a dream to shoot but heavy for a carry gun, even without the light on it. The H&K took a while to get the sights figured out (they are slightly different than others, Google it... game changer). G23, I can make it hit minute of man at 25 yds. Maybe not head shots, but I'll keep practicing with it. Thinking about changing out the trigger for a flat trigger, can't get used to the stock one. The round overall is fine for my application. At the speeds that I've crono'd for and reloaded for I shouldn't have to worry about over penetration, but still get a decent velocity. It can be snappy, you can get used to it.
"He cant solve puzzles." Actually, he can solve some puzzles. Spend enough time with Fido/Tobey/Whatever you want to name him and he can do some really cool stuff. Now, can he think on our level? Nope. But they dream (YouTube it, it's hilarious) which indicates a recognition of memory and an imagination to a limited degree I'm sure. "We could be using that money to fund pediatric or oncology departments or schools or churchs but instead we are wasting resources denouncing our fellow man for something they did." The government blows more money on other petty things than the ones you have listed. We could go back and forth all day about the things the government should and should not spend money on, but let's be honest, there's enough waste that could be trimmed that this could fit into the budget without hurting anything.
Once you are out of prison, that should be it - why wave it in their face? Thats akin to chopping off a 1st graders hands because he took a candy bar from a store or cutting out your eyeballs because you pirated a movie
Maybe we should revisit the punishments for these things too... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hasn't it been proven time and time again that people who abuse animals later go on to commit crimes against people? Is it EVERY person who abuses animals? No, but it's a stepping stone. You abused an animal and you've been convicted of it? You're mad that your address is posted on a public database for all your neighbors to see? Tough sh*t. Maybe you should have thought about the public humiliation, the looks that your neighbors are going to give you, the potential damage to your property, the potential harassment from others all the way through before you tortured or abused an animal. You break certain laws and you lose certain rights. I don't understand how the connection can be made between convicted animal abusers losing their rights to privacy and gun owners (who haven't committed any crimes, therefore haven't lost their right to own fire arms) being put on an online database. This is the way the United States works, folks. You break the law, you pay for it by forfeiting certain things (rights, money, your time, or a combination of all of these things). Do some people want gun owners on a database? Certainly. Lawfully, if we've done nothing wrong it'd be an invasion of privacy and I'm sure we could make a very good legal case against it. In my personal opinion, animal abusers should be punished in the manner that they were found guilty of torturing or killing the animals that they harmed. You splashed a dog with gasoline and lit on fire? Congratulations you're getting the same thing. You tied a cat to a railroad track and watched it squirm until the train came by a ran it over, continually for ten minutes until the train was gone and you just sat there laughing? Get the rope. Drop the neighbors rabbit into a bucket of acid? Have a dip. Moral of the story folks: play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Just finished reading the book about a week ago, as long as Bay doesn't get too carried away and sticks to the story line it should be very action packed. I hope it drives Hillary's numbers into the ground. I could only hope that something appropriate would happen to Obama as well... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
