What you seem to be missing is the pressure of a completely cratered market on manufacturers and sellers. I consider PSA to be a known quantity as I am sure many others her do as well. There are many makes at that $700 price point that are not or are of a lesser quality than the PSA offering. There are many reasons for that gap between 400 and 700 that can be explained by reasons other than quality. It's wise to know who you are buying from.

A little more information about the Good Samaritan. He is a ex-con who had his rights restored. https://bearingarms.com/bob-o/2017/01/25/hero-saved-arizona-trooper-felon-restored-gun-rights/ I am a firm believer that once someone pays their debt and completes their sentence, they should have their full rights restored. How can you expect someone to be a productive member of society when they can't be a full member of society? There are much more than gun rights involved in that equation.

1100 rds of 5.56, 30 USGI mags and 960 rds of 7.62x51. -
I agree that it fits everything I know about his personality and aesthetic. I also think it is hideous. For some odd reason I don't think those two facts are in disagreement at all.

Haha! I've gotten not a single one. I'm not surprised either. I mean who wants me around here more?
-
On that front, manufacturers are already exploring additive manufacturing (3D printing) so I imagine it won't be long before plans for a disposable can make the scene.

My UPS guy earned his money the other day. 7.62x51 by the case sure ain't light.

In theory we pay for 10mbs service, the highest available from our provider. We have a county run monopoly out here. Phone service is provided by the county and so is the internet. Nobody else is allowed to run lines in the ground. Our only other options are over the air. So, yeah. It sucks. A lot.

I don't know how y'all eat that moon pie mess. Damn things are just plain nasty. I'm down for a RC though.

Nice. I'm getting ready to upgrade the cart on mine to an Ortofon 2M Blue. The next big upgrade is going to be a dedicated phono preamp and I know the built in one is really stepping on the sound.

Are you a vinyl junkie as well?

I'm a bit jealous. This is what I pay $80 a month for out here in Crockett County.

My M&P has no manual safety and a 4.0# trigger pull. Doesn't matter how light the trigger pull is if you keep things off the trigger that don't belong there.

Because busybodies in government like to tell folks what they can and can't do with their own property and make it a source of revenue.

This gun has more chin than Bruce Campbell, but according to a gun writer guy I know, "it shoots flatter than my ex wife's tits." http://www.recoilweb.com/recoil-exclusive-hudson-h9-revealed-121960.html

TN Lost Reciprocity With Washington State

As an OTR truck driver that's a luxury I can't afford. Travel isn't a choice for me, it is how I provide for my family and reciprocity is a matter of vital concern for me. -
TN Lost Reciprocity With Washington State

That's #2. My prediction is that we will go from one of the most widely honored to one of the least by the end of the year. Time to start looking at UT and FL non-resident permits. -
Yep. Only on active duty status during drills and deployments. So basically this little feel good stroke by the legislature which will benefit a very, very small group has and will continue to cost us reciprocity in other states. That will also be a matter of limited effect for most folks as they probably don't travel a whole lot (unless we lose reciprocity with some neighboring states). It has an immediate effect on me as I routinely travel the lower 48 as a truck driver. Looks like I have to study up on the OC laws for a few more states now. I may be staking some unpopular ground here, or not, but this was a bad law. From idea to execution of that idea, it was ill-thought out with zero forethought of the consequences. A real easy easy and simple way they could have achieved the same goal would have been to allow an active duty military ID to serve as an equivalent to the HCP. I'm sure there are flaws in that plan, but it would have limited the fallout to inside the state.

Yep. I joined in may of 09. Didn't realize when I joined that the site was still so young. Almost 8 years later and it's still a daily visit.
