  1. John's City Diner is pretty solid.  Prosciutto makes mac and cheese a lot better!   http://www.johnscitydiner.com/menu.pdf
  2. I think Whiskey was right in his percentages. Since he's starting with a 10% concentration, diluting it 20:1 with water would in fact yield a 0.5% concentration, no?
  3. That's awesome! Hope it goes well.
  4. Make good choices...
  5. You've got some great places to climb pretty close by.
  6. My filing setup is pretty much identical. It really shows that you can make some really nice stuff with a little patience and some simple tooling.
  7. Very active runners can really increase their shoe life by buying two pairs of shoes at once and alternating days running with them.  Letting the insides really dry out before you put them back on your feet and run in them again really helps increase shoe life.   I can't say enough about the right shoe.  I underpronate, so only about two pairs out of 100 will actually fit me appropriately.  Having a store like fleet feet or similar that understands that is critical.
  8. This is never easy.  I'm glad you guys have family surrounding you and her right now.  You guys will be in our thoughts and prayers.
  9. I just built one on CMT's receiver set. I'll post my parts list tomorrow.
  10. Not to mention a visible reminder of why the manufacturers don't trip all over themselves to ramp up production every time there's a scare.
  11. Looks like we banned him a long time ago.
  12. My running is my time to just relax. I'm a better husband and parent because of it.
  13. Yep. Loved some dollar sandwich Wednesdays.
  14. I'm with you. After spending two years in Texas, I can appreciate the differences.
  15. I always liked vinegar based sauce. It was never the best barbecue, but I miss dollar sandwich days at Whitt's. Maybe it's my Georgian upbringing, but in the traditions of Malear's and Sprayberry's, I can appreciate the simplicity of a pork sandwich on white bread with some plain Lay's chips and a glass of sweet tea.
  16. Pat Martin does make some pretty good barbecue.    Ranking Nashville as the best city in the country for barbecue is sure to offend entire states.
  17. While I hate to post a link to a group like this, I'll agree that Alfonso Delcampo is not someone I want speaking for me as a gun owner:   http://aattp.org/meet-the-dangerous-ammosexuals-and-gun-fetishists-that-invaded-chipotle-with-their-blessing/
  18. Tanker never did post any proof of his 'lemon'.
  19. Fools like this really force an owner's hands. I eat in Chipotle a couple of times a week. At noon, the line in my local Chipotle in Brentwood is generally 30 people deep. I would be willing to bet good money that if Jabba the Hut and his fashionable friend walked in every day at the same time, their lunch sales would be down 30% in a week. Heck, I run a gun forum and I'd consider heading for the door if these two walked in. How are they going to sit and eat with those rifles hanging without muzzle sweeping someone at some point? Duck boots over there may just ND when he trips over his laces. It's ridiculous. They're all but forcing the owner to post to save his revenue stream.
  20. I got so tired of playing their game.   My bill would continually creep up towards $200, and I'd call and get whatever "promotion" they were offering just to watch it continue to creep up month after month.   We finally decided to quit playing.  We kept our internet connection, but tossed the cable package.  We've got Netflix and Amazon Prime, and really haven't missed much.  We might get an over-the-air antenna at some point, but really aren't in much of a hurry.   Maybe if enough people get off of their merry-go-round it'll prompt some change.  On the other hand, with AT&T trying to buy DirectTV and Comcast buying Time Warner Cable, we seem quite content in letting them skip towards monopoly status.
  21. PM me when you get settled in and you can play with mine for a few days. That'll either cement you wanting one or totally cure you of the desire.
  22. I'm going to have to give a safety razor a whirl.  Though, if I'm being honest, while I HATE the cost of refills on my multi-bladed Gillette Fusion - I can run one for at least a month.  I shave every morning, and I would wager that I've not changed a blade with less than 6 weeks on it in years.  Maybe I have tough skin or a soft beard (I don't think either of these are true), but it takes me a good while to feel the need to change a blade.   I don't know what I'd do if I felt like I had to change a Gillette blade every few shaves.  I've never had suicidal thoughts, but thinking about the cost of that might push me towards the edge.   I guess at the end of the day I'm just cheap.
