When I was a kid in Atlanta, Old Sarge's Army Navy Surplus had a big footlocker of dummy grenades for $1/each.  Pineapples, baseballs, even some potato mashers.   Those things were standard issue for war games in our neighborhood.    Funny, back then my dad would take me and my friends up there on Saturday to spend our allowance on all that stuff.  Today, I'm sure that after the SWAT team got done responding, they'd probably arrest our parents and send the lot of us kids into the foster system.    It's a shame.  Our kids today sure aren't any better for it.

You know, life's really short. Faith And hope are good things. The world is a cruel place, but I kind of believe that only by putting ourselves out there for others can we really put ourselves in a position to really receive the help others give us. Call it karma, do unto others, whatever... Regardless, life's just really short.

As much as I'd love to see this happen, as I see it, you're asking the government to cut a revenue stream.   Republican or Democrat doesn't matter in that regard.  There's no way they're giving up the money.

I remember joy in survival school of trapping a raccoon.  I can remember the exact words of our instructor when he told me, "a raccoon can feed a man for a week."   I don't know that I'd seek one out, but it sure was good then.

The Midsouth folks are good people.  We need more like them in the shooting community.

I'm pretty sure that's a Centurion Arms CMR rail.

For hunting at range, I'd choose the 300WM.  For paper, I'd likely choose the 6.5.
