    Wife

    Prayers for you all sent.
  2. You are trying to get me in trouble...aren't you?   We had some talk about this around the home place last night. Not really in favor of it, but short of a revolution, we didn't find a way to stop it.   Had this been done in a different way, by different people; all with discussion and not rammed thru by this rotten, derisive, and trouble-making administration...I don't think it would have been an issue.
  3.   Thanks, David. We all , the infected and abused by Microsoft...really appreciate your help.   It appears this morning that all is good, at least here for me.   My apologies for starting another thread on it, but I couldn't stay on for more than about 5 seconds max before I gat blocked.   I've been on for about 5 minutes now, and all still seems ok. More thanks for your quick action.
  4.   FWIW...I have reported it safe several times since this started.
  5. Bought a lot from PSA with no issues. If I wanted another 1911, I wouldn't be afraid to try it.

    High Standard

Yes, Tricky buddy, you are right. My prize piece is my Dad's High Standard Olympic. These are some very good shooting pistols.
  7. Has this happened to anyone else? This started yesterday afternoon.   When I log into TGO, after a few seconds, This Big RED Microsoft page appears, warning me that this site contains software that may damage my computer or place my personal and financial information at risk.   This is the longest I've been able to say onsite so far. I've had to hit the disregard and warning box just to get to this point.   I did mangae to log in from a laptop that was using Chrome without any warning page appearing.   Have any ideas? Or is this(as was suggest to me) an attempt by Microsoft to limit access to gun related sites ala FB?   Thoughts?   And I hope I can stay on long enough to get some responses.
  8.   My thinking here is that people who have bought and own firearms are tallied and kept track of, whether or not individual firearms are noted on records. But I truly believe purchase records are kept at point of sale from an FFL. To easy to do.
  9. B-Day? Well that's great. I hope it goes as well as the gift-day before has. So an early Happy Birthday to you!   And on another note...what happened to the B-Day list we used to get?
  10. Congratulations!!! That's an accomplishment these days.
  11. Should you need to make a claim, some of the requirements include needing receipts for them, pics and descriptions, professional assessments and valuations of all items, and of course putting up with the letters telling you that you need more coverage.
  12.   Every single governmental entity from the state to the federal level that wants it.
  13. Very good! Informative and enjoyable. You tell the procedure in a way that's understandable and easy to watch.
  14. Prayers offered for you all.
  15. Yes, read that article this morning. It's a wild retro-futuristic look that really jumps out at you. I like it too.
  16.   I don't usually go for the gussied up types(does that make me sound old? lol), but that is a fantastic pistol. If even half as good as it looks on video...well you get the idea.   But way out of my price range. Heck I'm still wondering if I could stomach the cost of a Wilson.
  17. Very nice setup! I hadn't as yet seen the 19 MOS configuration. I like it.   And Mr. prag...I really wish you hadn't linked to the Roland article. That is astounding!
  18.   We agree.
  19. I think I'm right on the identification. Granted, it's been 16 years since we were there, but it's such an awe inspiring place it all sticks in my mind.   We had rented a convertible after flying into Sky Harbor, and just started driving around. We experienced a sandstorm the first night there. It was beautiful to watch rolling in off the desert...until it go too close and we ran for the car. lol   The intent was to spend a few days at the Merchandise Mart, then drive north towards the Grand Canyon and spend the remaining time there.   But after having dinner with a couple we met there, we were told about Sedona. Since it sounded so good, and it was on our way up 89N, we decided to stop for a quick look. lol   Spent the remainder of the time doing the desert jeep tours(Have you seen the Pink Jeep Tours? I guess still in business.), the mountain jeep climb, walked some of the winding trails, and of course seeing all the shops.   One particularly good evening, we had dinner at a local place, then decided to just drive off into the night and watch the sunset. It was fantastic.   Then drove up into the hills and looked down on the valley and the small community below. Night time driving was just amazing after the heat of the day. I finally had to put up the top as it was getting downright cool.   But Sedona and the surrounding area is on of the most beautiful places we have been to. also, like most tourist spots, sort of pricey.   I bet that hasn't changed.   Somewhere around here, I have about 8 hours of 8mm Sony Videocam  tapes. I really need to get them converted to disc. Lots of good stuff on them.
  20.   I was told today, from a guy there, that no more Anderson lowers, but the PSA branded made by Aero. That's the price I thought I heard from him.
  21. Is that Submarine Rock in the first picture?   We spent a week there in 1999 and it was absolutely the best vacation ever! Hope to go back again.
  22.   Wish mine were like that. She refuses to buy me a gun of any sort. No...not against them at all, she just says that I would buy anything I wanted long before she found out what I would want her to buy for me.
  23. I hope the guy's not left handed. I saw that coming and just got a tight spinchter waiting for the moment.
  24. I didn't check spcifically, but I think it was 45/50 range for PSA/ Aero Precision if memory is right.
  25. Totally agree with you all on this! It's just another step in the long term plan to instill Muslim teachings all across the country. Infiltrate the minds of the young ones to accept it. Get a generation involved and keep moving until the caliphate is established here.   Don't believe it? Open your eyes and look at Western Europe. See what's happening there. It's coming here.
