  1. I too like the Canik pistols. My only one is the TP9sa, and like Steelharp's, it is the FDE/Tan model. I have close to a thousand rounds thru it with out a hiccup. Would like to get one of the C-100 line, and even another TP9sa. The decocker doesn't bother me at all. I'm still playing with the grips. I can't seem to decide which one fits me and allows the best shooting. I normally put the smallest grip on the pistols, but I think I'm getting better trigger pull/control on the TP9 with the larger grip. Any thoughts from you guys?

    H&K VP9

I concur. I love my PPQ M2. But it's just not a carry piece for me. But neither is the G19. I seem to always walk out the door with my Shield. It just fits me better.
  3. Congrats on a great find. I would snap one of those up in a heartbeat!
  4. A bit of a drive for him...this would be. lol
  5. FWIW from me. I've used Stihl since my father-in-law first lent me his old one 15 years ago. When his crapped out, I bought a new model a year ago. It's nowhere near as good as the older one. Supposedly the same model, a 20" Farm Boss. It cuts, but slowly. Harder to start, takes far more bar oil, and is heavier. On the side of Bow saws and some of the folding "shark tooth" saws, I have cut 2 to 10" limbs with them. Yes, it takes a little arm muscle on the 6"+. But I've cut a lot with them in the last 2 years. I did have to give up and have a 30 inch or so Hackberry cut up by a yard man though.
  6. LOL! How true. One of the biggest pieces of crap I've ever seen. Just my opinion guys.
  7. I agree with your comments today. Your analysis is spot on with what I was thinking and questioning. We also agree on the use of the C4 and the bomb disposal robot. My wife asked me why it couldn't have had a pistol or rifle used instead of the explosives. I told her I wasn't sure this particular robot could fire a weapon, but that I wondered about the use of it to kill the shooter. And that I had reservations about the method. My thoughts were along the lines of excessive force. But I wasn't there. I didn't have to make life and death decisions, so I'm not going to judge.
  8. My pleasure. I hope it works out. Greg's price, with shipping was 209. I've seen the kit as high as 300 recently.
  9. Gorgeous rifle!
  10. I got mine, the 922r kit that is, from Greg Cote, LLC. The CZ Reps at NRA Convention told me a shipment had just been sent to all distributors. I also got mags from him when others were price gouging. Greg is good to deal with. An A+++ sort of guy. Check him out.
  11. I only have one of GT's knives, but it's a great one! The only thing stopping me is some money and bill issues or I'd have more by now.
  12. Worst thing I can say about Comcast concerns pricing. It seems to continually be going up. Other than that, I've had no problems with them. I really can't say how long we've had their service; but it's been thru 2 homes. So has to be even longer than TGO David's comment.
  13. WOW!! Simply Wow.
  14. Surprising coming from CNBC.
  15. A great lady. A tremendous coach. A lady that will live in the records of UT and all basket ball coaches forever. RIP.
  16. You will not be disappointed. I haven't.

    Ok Sig

FWIW....I've had great luck with my Sigs. Several 1911s, 226, 229, and a couple 220s. Only had 1 Sig Polymer gun ever, and it was a SigPro in 40 back in the early 2000's. It was perfect. People and products change. That's a hard fact. Not always for the better. But don't give up on the 938. Keep talking with CS till you get a responsive person. As far as the Shield, I love them. Only thing I've noticed is that right out of the box, mine had several FTF and FTE issues with 115 grain rounds. It was suggested I use some 124 for a breakin period. That cured my problems with them. I found I liked the 124 more than the 115 and have continued to use them.
  18. Well, I screwed up and missed out on this order. Hopefully it will happen again. Thanks for getting it all together David.
  19. Although not my favorite pistol, the Glock 19 would be a good choice for dependability and durability. I do like musicman's thoughts on the lever action rifle though.
  20. Sweet rifles. Especially the Henry.
  21. Well...I wasn't going to mention that little point. lol
  22. Very nice work.
  23. Thanks. My parts recognition skills suck.
  24. Like the stock and handgrip on the AK. What are they?
  25. I like it. I've wanted to display a couple of my Dad's old guns, but get a bit antsy when thinking about it.
