Saw this several years ago I think. But that doesn't change the fact that it'a still a pretty good fable. Very descriptive of the philosophical differences between the left and right. And on a lighter note...after watching some of the SNL skits; I would hazzard a guess that Quenten Tarantino is going to Hell for "dJesus Uncrossed".

Good on you, Mr. Harrington. It's great to see a man of principal, and willing to stand up to the Pelosi Police State.- 1 reply

Really? Didn't see the boys in the video, but no matter. Top Gear guys strike again! They get to have more fun than should be legal in cars. I'm always envious of their toys.

2.3% Medical Excise Tax on Sporting Gear
hipower replied to Mister L's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Don't be so quick to believe everything Snopes puts out. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2695832/posts OK...so maybe the medical equipment/possible tax issue isn't 100% correct. The core of my rant stands. -
And what about what appeared to be a case of grenades in Morgan's hideout? Did Rick take any of those? Will he give the Gov a surprise with them?

Hey. You. Yes, you. The idiots who voted this clown in. Twice, no less. Where's that tax free Utopia now. Your food bills are skyrocketing. Your gas is going ballistic. Your blessed Green Power energy program sucks huge losses and can't even get off the ground. Obama care is going to take your life savings to keep you visiting a doctor. If you can find one who'll take new patients in on the program. Hidden taxes that were run thru without a single word now coming to light. What's it going to take to convince you? You screwed the pooch big time now. Maybe for the last time. -
Welcome into the madness here. Thanks for the invite. Would love to be there, but not possible this year. Maybe next time.

I have to go along with this. Tooting my own horn here, but I saw this coming, not just a run on AR/AK and semi-auto pistols; but told my wife that we'd see the wheelguns get scarce as well. She asked why, and I told her that most people would go for the fact they are easier to use fo some, and that the real hardcore among us would go for them becasuse they thought all guns would be affected before this is over. I think there is a little of both in the mix, but in any event, the normal handgun caliber ammo is just as hard to find as all else.

Dolomite, thanks for the comments on the Agulia SSS rounds. I have a little Pt22 that I traded into and was looking at some of the different 22 rounds available and trying to (find as well) decide what to use out of it. Don't wan't to have it as anything but a last resort hidden gun at home. And no, it's not the only one. Just the last one for my wife to get at in hurry.

Not trying to tell you what to do. It's your gun and choice. But..take into account some of the comments here about the long memory of these guys in relation to percieved "gouging." Just sayin'. -
Good thoughts. Thanks for the link. Got a Henry 22 a while back and not real fond of the sights.

Man, I almost choked when I read that last line. Give a guy a little warning next time.

Interesting looking. I find them more appealing than the wire racks. -

Why can't Newbies(mostly) read the rules?
hipower replied to BLACKVANDRIVER's topic in Feedback and Support
Because a goodly portion of them are not here to be "members." Just here for the sales outlet it gives them to gouge prices on items mostly needed by people here. -
Most women just don't appreciate the fact that most of us guys just can't stand waste. Just as soon as you throw it out...you'll find a use for it. There's just gotta be a use for all that stuff the wife says is piling up in the way.

Same here. The cost of linen patches is just stupid high. I used them for many years. Found a guy selling huge bags of them at a gun show back in the mid 80's for 5 bucks a bag. Literally 1000 1', 2x2, and 4x4 patches per bag. I bought 2 of them, then at the end of the day I saw him again and caught him in distress I guess. He sold me 4 more bags for 10 bucks. I used them until the last few bags got wet and dirty in the 2010 flood. So now...the old worn out tee is my cleaning rag.

After reading One Second After, for the second time; I might just be tempted to eat one of those 22 rounds myself if such an event should occur. -
Like my Sigs. Like my Glocks. But this claim....don't see it. I've got a G36 that has no known round count on it. I'm the 3rd owner that I know of. It and the old square tupperware box look rough as a concob after a goat has had hold of it. But it's not given a bit of trouble ever. I shoot it, wipe it down, literally throw it in the safe til nest use and forget about it. Cleaning? Infrequent and rudimentary at best. Field strip, wipe with a lightly oil damped rag and go. No failures of any kind..not with me anyway. And last owner told me the same thing.
