  1. Yeah, used to spend a lot of time, and money, on E-Bay. Especially when I was buy diecast cars. You learn pretty quickly, at least I did, that a bidding war can get out of hand really, really fast. Always know just what you are willing to give for something. And try to stick with it. In most all cases, there's another one of whatever you're after; that will come around.   Even using discrection, sometimes the fever can get hold of you. You know, the "I just gotta have it right now!" syndrome. Kinda like buying guns.
  2.   Completely agree and all counts. My bil turned me on to Sam, and that's been a pretty great thing.
  3. I haven't been lucky enough to be online at the right moment apparently. Congratulations to all you guys who have. I'll just keep trying...
  4.   I've heard some people downing the PMC line, but I have to say that I'm real fond of it. Korean made if I remember correctly, but I have had PMC in 45acp, 9mm, and 5.56. All have been pretty clean burning and seemingly consistant for me. I do really like the 9mm best though.
  5. Congratulations!! I haven't gotten any goodies lately. Last for me was back in December when I ordered a crap-pot full of mags from CDNN and Midway.
  6. That is awesome looking! Seriously,..if you ever want to give it a new home...please let me know.   OK...reread post. You don't have it, you just would like to? Right?
  7. I vote for Sam as well. He did a restoration on one of my dad's old rifles and did a magnificent job.
  8. Actually, the interpersonal relationships of the characters is one of the mainstays of interest for me. but even this has become somewhat lame of late, at least to me.
  9. Yes. The sheer volume of rounds fired...and no hits. And as Spots says, they can do running head shots though.   I'm also losing my desperation to see it. Have watched the last several as "catch up" with the On Demand menu.     Maybe something really "eye popping" will happen to get my attention back. With apologies to the Govenor for that line.
  10. Buying?? Not much. I've found a few WWB 45, but that's about all.   When I had a choice, I bought a lot of Speer, Federal, PMC Bronze, and Winchester for range use. Mostly Hornady for carry ammo.
  11.   My thanks as well. I've been meaning to get around to it for the past few days, but things kept getting in the way of my calling them. Now I don't have to.
  12.   A digression: Who are those people selling that stuff?  I saw some dude trying to trade 1600 rds of bulk .22LR and a Mosin for a Glock.  I felt like asking him if he had the other 350 bucks in cash it would take to buy a used Glock along with his trade fodder. Imagine thinking 1600 rds of .22 and a Mosin worth 450-550.00? If that is the future of shooting I am going fishing for a long long time.   Thanks for saying that. I was beginning to think I was the only one thinking this was an oddball sort of deal.
  13. Hmmmm. Both still available. That's interesting.
  14.
  15. Good-lookin' snagletoothed little critter.
  16.   Good luck finding her some!
  17. hipower

    Which one?

Hate to go against Uncle Joe, but yes, a rifle.
  18. Thank You, Mercury Intermedia.
  19. There is hope...but it's not a foregone conclusion. Keep emails and calls going to all the politicos. Keep supporting those who support us.
  20.   Yeah, what he said. "plinkster??" OMG!
  21.   That's good, but remember...it doesn't take much to make a lib sheeple nervous.     My wife asked me back in early November if I had enough ammo. I foolishly said " Why yes, I believe I do."
  22.   I usually visit Walmart any time I'm out and I've seen .40 PD ammo in every instance but one in the last 6/8 stops. Not a lot, but usually 2/3 boxes on the shelf each time.   Only constant is 12/20 guage shotgun. I've only seen one Wally completely devoid of every caliber, and that was Lebanon last Monday.
  23. Nice job. Be proud of it. There's so much satisfaction in doing this yourself.
  24. I just don't understand the fasination some people have with screwing with the internet sites.   You'd think they were politicians.
  25. Nope. Not at that price.   :ugh:    Not yet, anyway.
