From my own experience, and my opinion. I had the R&R procedure done circa 2013. It helped...to a certain extent and for a while. Made urinating faster and easier. Relieved that "pressure" feeling. Seems to me like it was good for about 5 years and symptoms slowly return. I don't think it actually does a lot for the prostate, just cleans the urethra. Now that's just my case, and I'm sure it varies person to person. The Rezum Water Vapor Therapy I have no knowledge of. I will ask my urologist about on my next visit.

Link says "Sold Out." I'll keep checking for this. Sounds good for my little gal Molly, and for me on those few outings in the brush around us.

Does any shop/business local to Nashville area have slings in stock? Sure would help my confused state to see them in person.
-
Agreed. Grinding our tools and knowledge into chains. Very much what's going on today.

You guys make me feel ashamed. lol Value gotten from this site is immeasurable! Money spent at this site is worse than immeasurable!! So why do I feel ashamed? I bought the Lifetime Benefactor Membership just after David started the program. It was a special rate deal. I really don't even remember what that amount was. But I can tell you that it's been one of the best deals for a cost vs benefit decisions I've ever made. Not that I still couldn't have enjoyed, participated, bought and sold here way back then, but it's been a small amount to pay for all I've gotten in return. Yes the selling restriction has been added since I did the deed, but it still has been worth far, far more than I would ever have dreamed.

Excellent movie! Have to put it on my watch list. Haven't seen it a quite a while.
-
Thanks. You read my mind. lol I was looking at the price differences and thought about it.

I don't, as yet see a folded carry for me. I know I see that in tv and movies, but is it really viable? Or just for specific times? I'd guess preference would also enter into this. Been watch the Sylvan ads, all pretty much 150. So is Law Tactical worth double + cost? Thinking for my first go-round may it should be Sylvan. And hopefully a sit down with Smith for a lesson or two.

Thanks guys for the information, observations and to chucktshoes for the video. A lot to learn, and I'm not stupid enough to think that's all. I hope. Anyone wanna chime in with thoughts and recommendations...please do. Lesson Question 1. Slings do/do not usually come with attachment hardware? Lesson Observation 1. Looks like a 2 point for a novice like me.

Thanks. That's what the guy from Classic Firearms is touting this morning. What about single vs double attachment point slings? Just individual preference, or valid differences in them?

Well, if I don't have to go out and fight them...lol. We have experienced two really bad times with them. Both involved our dogs. A long haired Chow was for some reason just like catnip for a cat to them. Cody would venture out and just be attacked by them. It was miserable for her. the critters seemed attracted to her fur. We spent a long summer trying to keep her clean. She would just roll around on the ground trying to get them off, so crushed cicada guts and long black hair was not a good combination we found. The second time, the first actually,(I got my times in reverse) was with a pair of Huskies. One long hair and one short hair pair. They absolutely loved to chase and crunch on the cicadas. Seemed to like the taste of them apparently. But it left them with horrible smelling breath! Our Molly, a Border Collie mix, has never seen them. I don't know what to expect from her. EDITED Hmmm. Looking at the above chart, thanks xsubsailor, Nashville area might not be bad. Actually might miss out until 2024. But that's just my guesswork looking at the projections on that map.

Very sad, but not totally unexpected news. Prayers for the families and loved ones of these sailors.

I know of Law Tactical, at least by name, but what about this Sylvan line? Anyone? The one thing that does seem to stand out about the Sylvan is that it doesn't lock in the open/folded position. Does Law T? Is that really important except for stowing and carrying in a bag?

Buddy...you are ahead of me. I have none.

Well, new to the sling idea for AR style rifles/pistols. Really looking for thoughts/ideas for a novice. Types. Brands. Costs. Basically anything you might have to tell. Thanks.

I can't say that I fully agree with you on PSA's pricing, but I guess it depends on what you are after. Yes, the transfer and tics fees can add up on a lower purchase if you buy online, but the only place that I know has a few in stock(Anderson btw, has a price you would not believe...hold on here. 349 each. And selling all he can get. I've had good luck with all I've bought from them...so far. lol. But I agree they aren't top shelf products, but not bottom either. Good enough for a wannabe operator like me though. I'll look into Bear Creek. I've heard the name, but have no knowledge of them.

Amen brother! I'm very glad that I listened to Tad(b-i-l) some years ago, and bought some LPK kits, a few OOPs kits, a couple of economy trigger kits(and the expensive one I mentioned above), some BCGs and a few charging handles. Did backtrack and buy a couple of cheap, but decent looking BUIS sets. They are metal rather than plastic. Don't remember the brand at the moment. Also several different handgrips and forward hand stops. Nothing real expensive, but it all adds up. I do regret not taking advantage of the lower pricing on complete uppers last year. Still might find something to interest me. As I go thru boxes, I keep finding other things. Maybe there's an upper in one of them. lol

Done that. And have the T-shirt labeled "slow and stupid" to boot!

What's that nice looking turntable? Been thinking I might upgrade mine. Don't ask what it is or how old...too embarrassing to tell.

I don't think I have before...but I will be now. I like it. Good music for bouncing around in my office here at 11:56. It's waking me up! Blusey and swing notes. Good stuff here! Well...the more I listen, the more style I hear. Now got some rockabilly in it.

Yes, I got that email as well. I've been waiting to get a cheap complete 16" upper from them, but the price has started going up instead of down again. I bought my last lower from Royal Range, but that's been over a year ago. Found a Spikes Crusader for 99. About all I could afford that day. Still have it. Rolling around in my head is a planned "tribute" rifle to my late brother-in-law. He was always telling me I should have an 18 or 20 inch barreled rifle. Maybe I will get around to it. Have pretty much all needed for the Spikes...good LPK, better trigger than I'd normally have bought, a good set of Troy sights, my NIB BCG, and my BCM Charging Handle. Darn close to being there. lol Got an email for Thunder Ranch complete uppers today. They look pretty good. 700 */- for the upper, depending on add goodies. I didn't really like the hand guards though. I keep coming back to the old MagPul stuff. Just old school I guess. Not able to spend that right now though. Had to replace AC/Heat Pump unit last week and I'm broke. My SS check sure didn't cover it! Might have to offer another pistol or 2 to offset my lost cash!

Mostly I do that. But personally like to wash towels and bedding in hot water. Just a little phobia.
-
Gotten almost exactly 4 years each out of consecutive GE washers. Last purchase was a Maytag. It runs like a rod is about to come thru it. But only on the Hot cycle. On Cold... it's ok.

No thanks. Don't drink beer, and rarely anything else.
