That's what my wife told me for years. Then I got too old for her to worry about. Now I just look.

Speak for yourself! I'm perfectly normal. Just an old retired T100 going about my business.

Honestly...for me it was initially from being bored. The only other online forum type activity I'd ever been involved with was the Tennessee Civil Society. Points awarded for knowing it, attaboy for having been a member and friends with the man behind it all. LOL I was referred here by another on TCS as it went down. Was extremely intimidated when I got here. Lots of smart, well heeled guys; and I was s piddling, out of a job guy with big medical issues. Wasn't even sure I'd be around for long. Both figuratively and literally. But still here. It's been quite a ride, with only a few bumps along the way. Wouldn't have missed it for at least 20 bucks.

Yes, I'd like to see some comments on "hearing aids" as well. Got tested a few months ago and like Randall53, tests showed that I have "moderate" loss in one ear and "significant" loss in the other. So far it has worked to my advantage...but with wife at home full time now; I have a lot of feedback on the issue. lol

Well, the Brace has been under fire for a while now. Possibly soon to go the way of the bumpstock?

9th Circuit-No Carry Open or Concealed
hipower replied to AuEagle's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The 9th has had quite a record of being ultra lib and anti anything that pertains to civil liberty of conservativism. So this isn't surprising. The tale will be to see how other court systems respond to this. -
Watching FOX this morning, waiting for the big press conference. Let's see what is up with the Harris-Biden show today.

My wife did after I told her to watch again. As a retired nurse of 44 years, she thought it strange too.

Watched the news most of the day. Then the above video. When the semi dressed shooter was walked out, it seemed he had a hit in the upper hamstring or the buttocks. Very bloody looking leg. One of the officers kept pulling at his underwear as if to check a wound. With the distance of that walk to a vehicle...I didn't see any blood trail. Nor any bloody footprints. Just wondering.

Welcome to TGO! There's a big contingent of our guys in your area. Hit'em up for a meet'n'greet!

I can tell you some are trolling. Gotten several saying "I'll take it" lately and never a reply. Always a newbie with 1 post.

I had a TRP some years ago, and that guide rod issues was pretty much a pain in the butt for me. That reason and a great offer on it was the reason I sold it.

Well...the years have been hard on my endoskelton and bio skin covering. Fighting John and Sarah Connor and those T1000s has been tough and wearing me down.

Holy Crap! You should be able to stop a charging bigfoot with that cannon!

That's the thing. We see the comments stop just short of saying that. But more and more business, airlines, even states are giving us the line that we need something like a Covid Stamp; a virtual passport for living, travel, and attending events from sports to concerts. I have and still do, see this as a control issue. Fear and intimidation. PsyOps. Amazing what you can make people do when you tell stories/lies(?) often enough.

I must admit that many factors went into my feelings on this decision. Really the Doc had more to do with it than anything else. He's treated me since February of 2008, when I was first diagnosed with Leukemia. So his statements carried a lot of weight. But like all, well most of us here. There were and still are so many thing about this Covid situation that just make me pause and think about how it came about. How it's been used to damn near wreck the country and influence or lives. Like you say, the two-faced Fauchi, and all his double-speak gobbldy-gook just make you/me want to scream FRAUD! But I guess only time will give us the answer.

I was just about to comment on the origin, Jamie. lol It's sort of a warning from the past. As for my weekend, since I never(foolishly) got into reloading; a little stuff in the safe needs some looking into. A bit of closet cleanout for the wife and my sanity and safety. She's threatened my over this before. Maybe catch up on SyFy's Resident Alien. If you're not watching this, I can't recommend it enough. It's a HOOT!

FWIW...a status update this morning. On the advice of my wife and my doc, I took my regular meds last night and 2 Tylenol just as I hit the bed. I slept like a baby. 7 uninterrupted hours! Unbelievable for me. I hardly every do that. If I do 4, I consider myself wonderfully blessed. Got up with a slight headache, but that's all. No pains, no aches, no fevers. Having my Cheerios and maybe a bagel. So now I'm prepared for our morning meet!

But where do I fit in in that statement? I've been called many things in my life...but a "wise man" certainly is among them.

But I daresay your wife isn't 69 year old, overweight, Tn Redneck either.
