Yes, I know one of those as well. A Dietician that my wife worked with for years was that way. Her Honda always looked like it was a refuge from a dump site. Always had to clear the front seat and floor to get in with her. It was so bad at one point my wife refused to ride in her car. I didn't believe it until I actually saw the car. It was horrible.

I greatly envy you, pop pop, on many levels. That type of trip is something the wife and I had talked about doing in our "golden years." However, circumstances have changed for us to the point I don't see it ever happening. Just enjoy every second to the fullest, and have a safe and wonderful time with all your family.

First...I'm not familiar with the FAL, so this question and question may be forgiven. I hope. Is the rifle not "legal" in the state it's in from the pic? I sort of like the way it looks. lol

Yeah...he finally mouthed some drivel about racism instead of anything really uplifting.

My dad carried one of the Jetfire's for years. I still have it sitting in my safe with a little holster he made for it. Actually cannot remember if I've ever fired it.

That looks very interesting. Almost tempting me to look further...and I think I will. lol Like to know what's behind that blade shape. Ok...went to the site and checked it out. Just a compound grind. For looks as far as I read. But that's fine. Does make for a very unique blade. Good purchase.

And since there are some of us who talk too much...that's not a bad thing for you to be. -
This is just one reason to be here. Good people, fellowship, and help when you need it. Where else would a complete stranger pay for your joining a group?

DANG!!! I'm missing out on so much stuff lately! Those would be ideal for a bunch of 22s that need some optics!

i never got into re-loading, but I will guarantee you this. If it does return to something like last year or before; I will be buying primers and powders for barter! That's like hoarding gold these days!

Do It! Then you can say..."I'm shooting up my kid's inheritance!" LOL!

There are OTHER forums?? Wow. I never knew that. I seem to live here. -
Be still my beating heart! Gorgeous!

I'd be way too embarrassed to do this pic!

WOW! Quite a voice.

If you can find any, 185 grain loads are great in the 1911s. Especially in the shorter barrels. I got some years ago for a Colt Officers just to try out, found I really like them. There is a discernable difference in recoil with them.

Sort of reminds me of a young Catherine Bell.

Nice choice. A little heavy with a full mag load, but nice.
-
What holster do you use for it? I have the 4" and my old one doesn't quite fit.
-
Wanna buy some more? I got a few too. LOL! Picked up a NIB 6" 38/357 a while back. Love it.

Both...I'm a little slow on comprehension at times. I tend to scan too quickly and lose parts. Old age I guess. Dang, I seem to be using that excuse a lot lately.

Well, it was funny afterwards, and I did post it for the fun part. Also to show that not all these prostate procedures are the same. I'm glad there seems to be many more choices. Not sure I'll do it again. Might just opt for the final option. It sure would be nice to sleep thru the night again.

I can see them either. Tried opening with google and had a fit with google passwords. Just gave up.

Had to read it twice...but great way to live. Wish I'd followed that advice.

Adding to my comments on this. To set the mood for this...see my post above. When I had the RR done, I was told to stand in the shower and cut the little air bladder, then pull quickly. No problem. Won't feel a thing. Maybe a little tug or slight , short pain. Do it at home, he says. I'd had a pretty bad time with infections, so the catheter had been in for a like 6 days. The doc suggested that since my wife was a nurse she could do this for me. I was a bit reluctant about it at this point. It's ok, I can handle it she says. She was fine with it until the morning of the event. So here I am...standing in the shower of nice warm water. I clip the little bulb and say to her...ok, do it. She says No. I'm not doing it. So I'm standing there...like the old adage, with my roscoe in hand...looking at her, dumbfounded. Saying...but...but you said you would do it. Again she says No. You do it yourself. I'm not going to hurt you and have to listen to you complain. LOL It was funny. Now. Anyway, I took a deep breathe, held it, and got ready to do the deed. I exhaled. I pulled. I screamed like a little girl! They lied. It did hurt. More than just a little. Felt like pulling a half inch washer out on grass string. And that thing just kept coming as I pulled...swear it was 2 feet long! At least it felt that way. This is a true, and embarrassing story. I swear it. I did have a few things going on that made it worse for me, but the whole deal happened. Just this way. Now I know things are much better now. I may have to do this procedure again. I will check all the other options you guys have mentioned first.
