If you gave the law enforcement agency the serial numbers to all stolen firearms they should have been entered stolen into NCIC. If any law enforcement run the number it would show stolen, the agency that entered it, and some other minor information. If you have a copy of your report make sure the serial numbers on the report also see if it says they were entered. As a detective the first thing I do with a case like this is check to ensure the reporting officers had the serial numbered entered into NCIC. Most times they do but there are times it doesn't happen and I have to make sure it gets done.

As far as I've always been told a straw purchase is when one person purchases a firearm for another that isn't legally allowed to purchase. I don't do any business with third parties.

All about the state laws. Here if I were to charge someone, each homicide charge has different elements. It can only be one. Now they may plea to another charge but you wouldn't be charged with first degree murder then say reckless homicide for the same victim. Also if you ever wondered most people are charged initially here as criminal homicide because it encompasses all homicide charges but when indicted it is specified as say first degree murder, 2nd degree murder, or manslaughter.

TSA has always been a political organization. They could endorse or not endorse something and it doesn't really imply the actual deputies have that opinion. I'm all for it and everybody in my office is also. I just wish if you have a permit they gave you some benefit beside the reciprocity like no back ground check.

As a lefty with long guns I've used them so long I no longer even want one. The brass deflectors on stock ar15s typically do their job. I don't believe the lower should be any different. The upper receiver along with bcg will be the difference.

I’ve had both my Moderna shots. First one gave me minor aches. Second had a headache off and on for two days. The people I know that felt bad after the first didn’t have any side effects on the 2nd. Everybody has said they had shoulder pain so go with your weak side and see if they can give it higher up. Good luck

In my opinion if everything was exactly the way you say and no other evidence to the contrary I would suggest you would have been fine and declared self defense. You have no duty to retreat and you were in a lawful place and anyone could assume you were about to get carjacked or worse. The biggest issue is where you said this was not a fear issue, were you in fear of serious bodily injury or death? That typically is the standard for using deadly force. I definitely don't want to be put in a self defense shooting scenario now and especially in Davidson County with the current environment. Luckily it worked out well and no-one got hurt.

Here is a thought. First after explosion most thought is terrorism. If you have a plane looking to finish the job or do more damage you now stick out heading toward closed airspace. Also keep the nosey media choppers out of the area and I'm sure some of them would love to fly too low and possibly damage something or rotor wash move evidence.

Yep I have horrible sinus problems get the stink eye if I sneeze. Ive been tested for the rona multiple times due to exposures at work been negative every time. It isn’t as bad as some people make it out to be.
