Somebody’s going to get a check.

I think if more people understood the numbers of blood kits, DNA samples, and rape kits that were submitted and the time each takes and amount of forensic scientist they would be shocked. The new scientists will help but realistically you want a state lab it has to be funded and staffed to be the state lab.

I’m interested in getting a box or two of subsonic 556 or 223 rounds. Would prefer it would cycle properly. I have no first hand experience so I’m seeking opinions good or bad.

Been awhile since I did a pistol but I believe they should check the box that says firearm not pistol or rifle.

$50 wow. I've never heard of anyone above $25 for just a transfer. I would assume you know the reason why the issue even popped up and get it resolved so you don't have that problem again. Could be something as simple as a court disposition never submitted to the right people and it flags on the background.

I'm thinking about setting up a group to try this place for some boar hunting. Anyone here been there and if so, what did you think? Thanks

It’s to see in the cars and watch for behavior. I never used a spotlight just head lights in the past. People up to no good tend to have some pretty noticeable movements and expressions. -
I read the letter from FRT's attorney wasn't bad. But I will tell I won't have attorney that uses gmail for his legal practice.

I've been thinking about getting a 48 but I love my 43x. I bought the 43x MOS when it came out.

Just my opinion from inside the broken system. First, mental health related issues are not law enforcement but medical in nature. Do away with the involuntary committal laws that make law enforcement rather than EMS or other healthcare related workers responsible for taking a person for “treatment” or even respond unless someone is in physical danger. Second, there must more investment in mental health treatment. Don’t know how the bill will be paid but I would suggest possibly teaming up with teaching universities to help. Third, some families and friends of people with mental illness need to be more involved with their people. I don’t think that is all but would be a start and I don’t believe we will ever have a magic fix.

I thought they put a hold on that after the pushback. -
That is great. I’m sure he going to have prosperous career ahead of him after he reaches his education goals. I’m not a Gator fan but at least he kept it SEC!

Been there. Got hit by a drunk driver in 2010 while on a stop. Most led bars on patrol cars have a dim button you use at night so it isn’t as bright but good and visible.

I had to re-read the post but he doesn't say anything about breeding. He asked about a breed of dog.

I've never personally had one but worked with handlers with plenty of mals and people that had one as a pet. The best I could describe one is take the highest drive dog you've seen and then let them smoke meth that is a mal. Must have plenty of exercise, supervision, and training to keep them in line. Most people really don't have the time and/or don't have the will to put that much work into a dog.

You always have some nice toys. -
As Chuck said if you changed it for one it covers all. In Tennessee it is all one entry if ran just shows on your license and then there is section for handgun permit and expiration date for it.

I can only speak for my agency. Once any criminal charges are done with on the thief or person in possession of it it only takes a simple run of the record to ensure you aren't prohibited from possessing it and then sign here bye.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I saw worker's comp refuse coverage to two guys in my office who were in direct contact with positive people on the job and it was documented and caught it and had to take off. Their answer was you can't prove that is the person you caught it from. To many variables and unknowns and that always is in their favor.

I also keep mine what we called cruiser ready tube full chamber empty. The safety is personal choice but be use to disengaging it if you use it.

We are in the 6th district that ruling will have no effect here until SCOTUS makes a ruling.

If you gave the law enforcement agency the serial numbers to all stolen firearms they should have been entered stolen into NCIC. If any law enforcement run the number it would show stolen, the agency that entered it, and some other minor information. If you have a copy of your report make sure the serial numbers on the report also see if it says they were entered. As a detective the first thing I do with a case like this is check to ensure the reporting officers had the serial numbered entered into NCIC. Most times they do but there are times it doesn't happen and I have to make sure it gets done.

As far as I've always been told a straw purchase is when one person purchases a firearm for another that isn't legally allowed to purchase. I don't do any business with third parties.
