In federal court only federal officers are armed. Funny thing those court security officers working for US Marshals can only carry while working but most are retired officers and carry their piece once out the door.

The video made me cringe and I wouldn’t be suprised if he is convicted of a lesser offense. The worst part of this is the actions by the DA. Any case in the past would be presented to the grand jury where only the prosecutors and investigators can attend to present evidence and answer questions. The old saying is the grand jury will indict a ham sandwich, so the rumor is either the DA didn’t like the current grand jury or he is getting some good PR from the groups. He the made them go to a general sessions judge to sign the warrant after a magistrate refused. In Davidson County the system doesn’t work like that. Judges only typically issue bench warrants or maybe probation warrants. Its odd they didn’t follow the system. Also they made the DA investigator swear out the warrant and scratched out the TBI agent’s name and still used his probable cause affidavit.

I don’t think Nashville is ready for it but I’m not against a team eventually. Davison County is screwed because they have let the city control the entire county so more tax base to fund urban sevices area.

About 8 or 9 years ago myself and the rangemaster took several expired vests in various conditions and shot them them with all the rounds they were rated for. All the vests that were taken care of stopped them while the ragged vests that looked like a slob took care of them failed. The vest that was around 10 years expired held up against a 12 gauge slug.

It would depend on their state law. They won’t convict for it but maybe met the statute definition for a charge.

That sounds like a hassle. It is legal to shoot in my city. I think you would run into a codes issue.

It probably has to do with your license expiration date. I think they changed it so when you renewed it would be the same day so you may lose some or gain depending on that.

I found out he was cited for drag racing not tampering with a crime scene. I don’t know anything more than that and it is public record.

There is no citation for tampering with a crime scene. Closest law we have is tampering with evidence and that is not eligible for a citation. You have a link to some story? Doesn’t sound right but I’m curious will ask around.

Yep They hire them even when not in the road. I’ve seen them many times in a parking lot working on something still with an officer.

AT&T hires LEO to be with them for traffic puproses. They might be with one crew all day and they move around.

I used a Galco ankle lite when I carried my backup on the ankle. I never had a complaint. I also had a boot extender for certain boots.

Probably a slug I keep my shotgun loaded with slugs and keep buck on the side saddle. But with new shells buckshot at 100 yards has maybe a 4” spread.

A dog igloo with a rubber flap will keep enough heat. I use to work K-9 and would occasionally check the temperature in there it would stay in the 50’s over night. I did take some old fence panels to the side of kennel to help block wind.

I know our trees and other steel move once its impacted so should change the angle of the projectile. I’ve never been hit from shooting steel but took a few shotgun pellets off a tree when younger.

It got pretty deep up this way. Got called in to work at 1:30 AM because of the flooding. It just amazes me how many people want to attempt to drive through roads with like 3-4 feet of water in cars and expect to make it. I got my boots on the dryer where I had to wade through water to get a lady out of her car. Saw people just basically throw their cars away doing this.
