  1. Here they are, zeroed for maximum point blank range with an 1 1/2" vital zone, 55 grain lead tips, winchester ammo. Red: .223 Green: 22-250 Blue: .243
  2. Nice shootin' iron! Good optic, high Magpul content. I want one of those lowers.
  3. What he said. We have idiots. We also have more folks that just don't care enough to pay attention. Then, there's money and media. Tough problem, with no good solution.
  4. The thruth! A .243 with 55gr varmint bullets reaches out past the 22-250. With heavier bullets, it will take the bigger game. I'm assuming you're not so concerned with ammo cost with a bolt gun. My .243 is a Browning X Bolt sporter. If I was gonna shoot small criiters at long range, I would most likely go with a Savage with varmint barrel and the accutrigger.

    S&W M&P

I have an M&P9 with Apex duty carry parts and a CZ75 P01. You can't beat the way a CZ feels in your hand, but I prefer shooting the M&P. At least one other person made the same observation with my pistols. Had little or nothing to do with triggers.
  6. I can live with anything new, because I'm here for the content. With that said, my most frequently used button is "New Posts". Is that feature available in the new software? I'm OK with the new look, but the current version is a work of art.
  7. It's hard to tell until he gets into office. My take on Haslam's position on guns is that it's not on his list of priorities at all. He's ok with the existing laws, so there's nothing for him to do. When he discusses his priorities, it's about budgets and the other bigger issues. Son of Ned, on the other hand, seems to have some anti gun activism in his blood. Some of the folks that aren't willing to "hold their nose" and vote against him may change their minds after his first term. It's a bad idea to allow any anti to get more power.
  8. The NRA posted a link to this on Facebook
  9. Sooo, anybody still think it's not a worthwhile cause to vote against Son of Ned???
  10. You'll need a more southern name, like maybe Bubba Strelbo. Other than that, you can probably get elected.
  11. Remington is pretty good at wiggling their way out of it. Been doing it for years
  12. Somebody is gonna get the gig. It's gonna be one of two guys. We have two choices. Influence the outcome, or not.
  13. Me too. The ONLY other possible outcome is ugly.
  14. I have a Harris bipod with rail adapter. My AR is a carbine, so I haven't tried it yet. Not much real estate on the rails. If the grip pod wasn't so long when it's collapsed, it would be an easy choice.
  15. It would suck if Son of Ned gets elected. Just sayin'
  16. Is that grip bipod pretty stable? been thinking about getting one
  17. You're probably right. Scratch the sign idea
  18. Before. After, you'll see some "Homos are OK" signs in the crowd.
  19. Yep. I chuckled a little when I saw "safe" stamped in the slide
  20. NRA Endorsements: Haslam B- (turd sandwich) Son of Ned C- (foot long turd sandwich)
  21. I thought homos in the Tea Party would do that
  22. Looks like it's ready to make some noise
  23. If you use the utility knife trick on the front pivot detent, you may not shoot any springs across the room. My parts kit came with a spare spring and detent.
