The payout will be taxed at ~40%.  If you invest, diversify, etc.  The return that you make a living off of (the portion in the market) will be taxed at 15%.   You don't live off of the winnings, you let it make a living for you... even with this much.   If you use the money while you let it make you a living, you could fairly easily setup a dynasty for generations to come.

Picked one up in .308 today!!  ... maybe in honor of the SOTU Address.  ??   Anway, it is a .308 bolt in a 20" barrel, ... a little heavier than what I might put together, but I couldn't touch it for the price.   I had shyed away from the idea after holding a 6.5 creedmore (26" barrel)... it was heaaavy.   This is the first one in .308 I had laid hands on, and it felt perfect.      Now to decide which brake/supressor host to put on it... hmmmm....

I don't have a cat in the race, but... On the subject of roadkill as proof of existence: In comparison to canines and marsupials, how many felines of any kind do you see as roadkill? I may be mistaken, but I believe they are a bit more aware and wary than most of what we see as roadkill on TN roads.

In Jackson today.  Rain just came through.  All I can say is wow, it was like a wall of water outside.       We have been watching the TN river in Saltillo.

My experience:   I love CLP as a "do it all" clean & oil when I am in a hurry.  *but... I have had CLP applied to a cleaned rifle, put up in the (dehumidified) safe and pulled the rifle out months later to find parts of it bone dry.   I have never had a firearm with SLIP 2000 on it completely dry out like that.  I use both weights of SLIP 2000's oil and their EWG on rails & sliding surfaces of the BCG (love that stuff!).  I just use a toothpick to apply it.

I'm no weather-expert, but from the track I see it taking, unless we heat up more, it looks like Nashville could miss out on the worst of it - blowing north and west of us.   Clarksville, Cheatham County, etc. may fare worse.  ??

Didn't see the actual pageant, just the ending, but after it happened, I looked at twitter for reaction, and there seem to be quite a following for Ms. Philippines.   As for last moments of that broadcasat:   It. was. awful.

For the record, I just tuned in as they were announcing.   the noteworthy thing is this:  They gave the crown to Ms. Columbia... she took her walk, had the crown put on her,.... and.....   ,.. then S.H. announced he misread the card and Ms. Columbia was the first runner up!      ... it was the longest, most awkward piece of live television I have ever even heard of... much less witnessed.   woah.

I was about to click "checkout" on some ammo cans, and I didn't do it.   I'm curious, are any of you using an alternative that you like better?  What are you using and why?   -maybe you use something that is less obviously "ammo", maybe something cheaper, maybe something downright better.     Watcha got?

Well,... I have long listened to NPR, and I turned them off this week ... I don't know it all, but it just turned my stomach to hear the repeated, intentional labeling of the San Bernadino attackers as "the shooters"... and the attack as "the mass shooting"  -- without so much as a hint of the thought of a terror connection.   As serious as the evidence is, and as hard as the government is looking at the connections, this is far from an oversight on NPR's part.   They should be ashamed, and I fear they are not.

If I may, "mag" is a contained "vessel" for the rounds.  "clip" is a retaining device where the rounds (of ammunition) are not contained within - just held together.     With that said, if you can, shoot them all and find out what works for you.  Then practice like heck.   I would be partial to the G27.

Ha!  I'll chime in.        I have bought from Royal Range.  I bought my Sig range-finder there.  ... for a price lower than you could find on the inter-webs.  They had incredible prices on LWRC rifles.  Scotty has always been incredibly friendly when I run into him there.       I can also say that they have room for imrovement in handling multiple customers and "focus" on customer activity/needs, but I am willing to give them time to accept some constructive critisism and figure it out.  The prices @ RR are way too low to give up on them so easily. 

I care for you all, and support your beliefs - whatever they may be.     If an all-powerful (I could do anything) "god" is allowing or causing all of this raping, murdering, and killing (by us, "them", or aliens from Mars),.... well....   that god and I may find ourselves in disagreeance.       If you see something, say something.

Well it wouldn't be under any legal authority, and it wouldn't be pretty. The pressure to act just has to be greater than the pressure to ignore. Should that time come, it would be up to whomever leads to apply that pressure.
