I attended a security class this past weekend for church. The instructor is a former TBI agent/supervisor with a ridiculous list of credentials. When it's my turn he hands me a paddle holster with a IR laser Glock 17 in it and says "we're using a paddle holster for training, but in real life, you'd never want to open carry for obvious reasons". I tend to agree about OC, but I did find it interesting that he thought that was such a universally true statement that it went without saying.

I don't know many P-07 owners who don't want one. I think it's the best new pistol CZ has come out with since the P-01, but maybe I'm biased. I am a CZ fan boy, can't deny it.

I watched most of his video where his wife kept getting failures. I thought that looked like operator error, but who knows. I think even with limp-wristing, the shorter screws you mentioned would help a lot.

I thought the left assured us that the "gun show loophole" was how criminals got guns. I guess we need to implement stricter background checks on burglars to stop this. When criminals want guns, there's little they won't do to get their hands on one. At least these scumbags didn't get their hands on any weapons this time. I'm sure the mild slap on the wrist they get will be a true deterrent of future crime.

I can't deny having some reservations about the dumbing down of human intelligence as AI replaces them. I suppose it's no different that automating certain tasks on assembly lines though. The main difference I see is that programming AI can contain biases and ulterior motives in certain applications.

This new season of Lioness was even better than the first one. Several times the shootouts put me in mind of Sicario. Huge shoes to fill, but almost as good.

Landman was pretty darn good. I can always tell how much I like a show when I watch the last episode and realize I have to wait God knows how long on the next one and it makes me feel angry and sad.

I wonder how many folks in TN own a snow blower. I've never seen one in real life.

I'm not familiar with the area, but I took a look around the area using Google Street view. Looks like a pretty nice neighborhood that looks new among what was previously a fairly economically depressed area. Is there a lot of crime around there?
