Based on your side of the story it does sound they're being over-sensitive. I've seen far worse language used on gun forums and tolerated. However, saying the "F" did NOT stand for what a reasonable person would most likely think it stands for isn't the viable defense you think it is any more than replacing one letter with an asterisk.

None of them get my benefit of doubt regardless of the story. By the time MSM puts all the spin on ANY story it rarely reflects the truth. Moreover, they pick and choose which stories will get the most viewers and they sweep stories under the rug that doesn't fit their agenda and over-inflate stories that support their agenda.
