  1. Hearing very good reports from multiple sources regarding the Blazer brass. G - thanks for the lead on the Fiocchi! How about a 5.56 in 55 or 62 for a 1/9 barrel - M&P Sport II
  2. While Gary can actually mechanic a vehicle, most parts (modules) are designed to be replaced vs. repaired. Sealed units with rivets and gorilla adhesives, no bolts or screws... Can you even get new brushes or have an alternator rebuilt these days?
  3. Need to re-stock .30cal carbine. 2 options, same price, PPU or S&B? Have had excellent results with PPU. Also curious about Geco 9mm or a "cleaner" brand than WWB 124 NATO from WM. Burned through over 1200 rounds, no issues though it seems to leave a lot of residue and brass filings. Not particularly brand loyal with most 115/124 available for less than $.20/rouund. Thanks!
  4. I first heard this song 7 years ago, I am still emotionally overwhelmed every time I listen to it.
  5. I wonder how the first followers of Jesus felt today. Your teacher is dead. No obvious kingdom. Religious authorities are out to get you Local . gov is out to get you National .gov doesn't care right now, but they'll be out to get you too. When all is lost, what can you do? Consumed in the darkness, gripped by fear, paralyzed by terror and indecision? Go down to the river and pray! (sorry about the ad)
  6. Sometimes we overlook the ugliness of this day as it is over shadowed by the joy, hope, and promise of Easter. The glory of the resurrected Christ is due to his suffering and death on the cross today. Jesus says somewhere in the Bible, "there is no greater love than to die for ones friends." Thank you for loving me that much.
  7. The magic of reversed images, the perspective is the same, front on view, ink is reversed. Like your rig, what is your bear gun?
  8. Is your ink airbrushed? From your Avatar...
  9. My wife went, really enjoyed it. She liked the plausible explanations on how you might actually manage a lot of critters on a boat. In my opinion, the Earth ain't quite as young or old as folks suspect.
  10. I understand why you finished your mk18, but agree, the burnt bronze was a cool look.
  11. We're going to France, hope the yellow jackets are less active on cooler months
  12. Thanks for all the help - this pace is great!!! Good news, need it by end of August. Need to get busy now
  13. We have a running thread on contractors, it's a vent thread, so you get the idea. Definitely check with your agent for local outfits close to Jeff City. Good luck and welcome to East Tennessee!
  14. $399 for the Ruger seems to be the deal of the day!
  15. Having interacted with some state legislators, they claim to like non form letter / multi signature inquiries from citizens. They do pay attention, though the return answer in template form seems like a blow off.
  16. Knoxville area. On line info is not clear. Can someone in the know post the where and how - I have my birth certificate and cash.
  17. I think it's a neat alternative to a PCC
  18. What joy in the promise of eternal life in Heaven! As Easter approaches, I hope the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ helps renew and refresh your faith.
  19. If it wasn't for gun stuff, I would never go to a big box and even today, rarely. Gander Mountain was overpriced The only thing I can ever remember buying at Dick's is the covert carbine tennis racket bag I use. One visit 3 years ago and no recollection of anything prior. Maybe he'll want to start making money again with the $36 billion divorce settlement plus his investment in her new start up. Never was, never will be a customer. You can catch some good ammo deals at Academy and they have a fair selection of general stuff. Haven't been in a Field and Stream yet. Bass Pro is fun to visit, but Bud's and Smoky Mountain Knife Works are most convenient for me. SMKW is becoming my go to for off the shelf ammo. 9mm as cheap as 8.99/50, .380 11.99/50 Plentiful SD in all calibers. Didn't price it, but looked to have quite of bit of .32 - .327 mag as well. For gun purchases, I would rather buy from the fine folks peddling their wares in the TGO Trading Post. Unfortunately, I haven't found a convenient, excellent LGS.
  20. https://twitchy.com/brettt-3136/2019/04/04/colion-noir-calls-out-sen-cory-booker-after-he-reaffirms-his-commitment-to-take-the-nra-down/ I discovered who Colion Noir was through his review of the CZ Evo Pistol a few years back. Because he is a minority gun enthusiast and activist, the antis have a hard time attacking him with the same old, emotionally charged rhetoric. Calling me a narrow minded, Bible clutching, gun totin', (probable rascist, islamo, homophobe) red neck, white cracker nationalist is acceptable. Why not replace red neck, white cracker with any other ethnic slur to label non-white Christian (or any religion for that matter) , any sexual orientation (i.e. the Pink Pistols) gun owning, law abiding citizen? Because then, under the rules of PC, you have no choice but to debate with facts. Have seen him on different talk shows via Youtube - definitely one of the good guys!
  21. I've got one with a .40 and .357 barrel. It has been reliable using both 224 and 229 mags. Trigger is very nice. Short, fat grip feels odd to me, so it is tucked away for access if John Wick comes a knockin' It's an odd size for a sub compact, being on the upper end of hefty / bulky. Coupled with Grayfox's research on reliability, not so strange they discontinued it.
  22. Great thread, not much to add other than I won't be using ,"fear for my life." More like, "dude was going to kill me, rape my wife, abduct my family member," because: I was paying attention, this is what he was doing and I was unable to escape. Regarding traffic stops, no issues here.
  23. I fell in love when she pulled the Tiffany blue switchblade.

  25. I have read multiple positive reviews on both the American and Security. If I wasn't heavily invested in CZ and looking for another striker fired, I'd give them a serious look. My first carry gun was an SP101 and first auto loader was a P95.
