  1. You may want to find a quality tile man. Totally curbless for potential future mobility problems may be key, if you're staying in this home. The owner of the company I ran just retired, so my connections in the field are limited...
  2. I seem to recall the Husqvarna logo captures their legacy of gun making. Pretty cool, thanks for posting!
  3. You'd think with the proliferation of .380 handguns, ammo would be slightly cheaper. If folks would actually shoot their .380s? Present company excluded. I have never, ever seen a .380 used in class, beginning my 7th year as a professional student and range valet I may have to run the PK380 next Saturday at class...
  4. A few months back, I discovered a course of semi-consistent dry fire work actually improved my live fire skills. Specifically, drawing, presenting, and first (or multiple) trigger press. While assisting at a recent class, there was a conversation between the instructor and students regarding practice with SIRT guns; the immediate feedback from the laser does help and makes dry work a little more fun and engaging. I start googling for a CZ variant; they don't exist and an airsoft replica is more than a real gun. Laser bullets start populating with reactive targets - it was then when I remembered seeing a video on Truth About Guns or Ammoland or Firearm Blog or ? promoting iTarget. I won't post links, but easily found on the net, YouTube and App Store. What you get: Laser bullets with 2 set of batteries target / mobile phone sled, laser dot reflective target and app = $98.00 free shipping. How it works: Download App, insert phone into sled, adjust aspect/zoom ratios, set distance, shoot at target. Phone camera records hits with gun shot retort. Does it work: Yep. Camera a little hard to adjust, I think it's my budget phone. Worked with the RAMI, 75B and HP carbine. 9 feet to 36 feet Impressed? Actually yes, especially after I discovered the sled has a standard tripod mount and repurposed my Grandpa's camera tripod. Sled is plastic, but well made. Bullet is packaged as iTarget, I assume private label version of the one (or two) available on the market. App is easy to use. Value: Have used it 2 times $20 in range time plus 1 hour of gas and time each trip. Expended 300 rounds so far. Break even by my math. For you DA guys, it's close to dry fire Nirvana.
  5. Welcome aboard, I too, am a CZ Kool aid drinker.
  6. CZ series, in order of acquisition 75B variant P01 variant RAMI 2075 P - soon to be sent to CGW. Mag compatibility is a plus, though the RAMI struggles with 16 / 18 round mags.
  7. Tiffany, glad to see you and Aqil had a great turn out! I hope we get to meet soon. AJ
  8. In the description, it states rifle / subgun / 50 yards. Safe to assume any rifle, center-fire / PC carbine, or PDW would work for this class?
  9. Farewell Mr. Finney
  10. Specifically, 9mm range ammo? Been shooting a bunch of the WM Win 124 NATO with no issues other than quite a bit of residue, especially on the feed ramps of my CZs. With all brand name brass around $10/50 or less, any suggestions? Doesn't specifically need to be 124gr. Thanks!
  11. I am looking forward to meeting Lee and hearing him speak. If it not raining, I can assure you, we will be adding a really cool dynamic to the shooting portion of this class. Dare I say, if this dynamic has been done before, very rarely and not with the same attention to detail. If you have never visited the Ridge, it is a top notch facility, both indoor and pistol range. Bill and his team do a fantastic job with their stewardship of the property and you can inquire about access to the 250 yard rifle range. Easily found on Hwy 27 with good access for 2WD vehicles. Hope your are curious enough to come out - we've gotten much better since our early days in the valley!
  12. To all my Brothers and Sisters in this thing I call Creation, may the peace and love of the Lord Jesus Christ be with each of you. I come you a beggar for your prayers that Almighty God will have mercy on this great nation of ours and that He would touch the hearts and mind of those who believe the concept that late term abortion is acceptable. Up until the time of birth would indicate until the fetus is physically separated from the mother, it's not a person. There are a few species lower on the food chain whose unborn have greater legal protection. To save the life of the mother is as convenient as in cases of rape or incest. I recently had an acquaintance ask me what would it take to get us back on track. "A great Christian Revival, except that many professed Christians have made it hard to fill the tent and recruit." I pray the Lord blesses and protects each and everyone of you and that He showers you with with His unconditional love, mercy, forgiveness, and grace!
  13. Don't have a dog in this fight, so that's what my opinion is worth. Agree with the previous post on warranty, don't need it or really need it. It appears a great warranty, but poor turn times which add to customer frustration. Results are the folks with issues get really loud on the internet. Folks with solid guns don't post much for fear of being ridiculed for buying one. If I was looking at budget friendly handguns, for a few bucks more, I'd probably revisit Ruger
  14. I lucked out with a great view of the southern night sky. Witnessed Mars tracking from West to East over the last 60 ish days I believe this is Venus as well, taken 1/31/17, 6:28p
  15. "325gr .45acp in development" Concur, let's see some ballistic test vids.
  16. If you are looking for a core to build upon or need a deep dive refresher, this is a great class. I will be attending and serving as Range Valet to ensure students get full attention. Hope to see you there!
  17. I wonder if they will release a carbine in .357 Sig. Small niche, but they would potentially have the only affordable platform in the industry. Maybe the .40 chambering could be recut? Mags should be compatible (based on my Sig experience)
  18. May explain why Bud's has a stack of Ruger ARs for $479
  19. When I sent in my 995 for warranty work, they request all mags. In my case, they replaced them all with new manufacture. The new mags display the HP logo and mfg date. Ymmv
  20. Just ran another 110 trouble free rounds through my 995 Bullpup.
  21. You can trust us, we're not from the government. Depending on how she wants to liquidate and location, i believe Grayfox helped put a family utilizing both the Trading Post and gun show.
  22. I just used Four Winds Jewelers on Northshore for my Rolex 3 year service.
  23. Because LEO needs to provide more remedial training? Watched a Paul Harrell video comparing 9 to 40. Very similar though the .40 appeared to have slightly better overall performance. -2 or 3 rounds better? Not sure, I'm pretty committed to 9 for EDC
  24. Father in law is a collector, coolest one he has is a single hour hand model with a "hair" chain that runs around a drum. What is fascinating, is the linked chain was totally hand made. He also has a run of rail road watches.
