Full disclosure, Randy is my friend. Because I like his teaching style and course content, I am willing to travel and pay for training. I also enjoyed the company and conversation, so while we got off schedule, I was satisfied with the instruction, corrected one problem (low right) and possibly identified the cause for problem 2 (slight right) when I got home. Some practical take aways: More dry work, 10 minutes, 2, 3 times per day. When I switched to my P224 with flush mag, it was tragic. Odd grip to adjust to, fatter front sight, shorter sight radius. After a mag or two, got mostly on target, but for serious work, I've got to have the 12 round P229 mag for a full grip. Being the slowest cat in class AND appearing even slower, having the pleasure of witnessing some Dark, Light, and dare I say, Turbo-level skill exhibited, made me think a little more tactically. Specifically, I need a little more time if I have engage, do I have other options, including, paying attention and trying to evade or escape if the situation merits? Gives me time and space, in the meantime, practice. This particular class was skill assessment with preparation through dry work and basic warm up. The timed drills were challenging and I thought pretty fun to shoot. Hope everyone made it home safe! Randy - happy early birthday!

Can any one verify an episode of Consumer Probe, Candace Bergen and Irving Mainway, investigating the source of Mainway's source of milk to the NY Public Schools? The source was rat's milk and Irving went on to describe how they milked them. Saw it once, never again and now, the dangerous Halloween costume and Christmas present bits seem suppressed with the resurrection of Candace.

Whoa there Tex, I still have and use my Realistic Chronomatic 230. It was a Christmas gift from my Grandparents, I was 10ish? After 40 years, do I have a valid claim in the divorce?

In my less than learned opinion, most .380/9mm pocket guns are perfect for the 3-3-3 rule. If you are proficient drawing from the pocket or carry position, it is reliable with a good .380 round and you've spent some time practicing to actually be able to shoot it well. Depending on level of concealment, I've found it's grip height vs. thickness which increases concealability. There are time when I need the size of an LCP, in my case, it's a Kimber Micro with flush mag. Heavier than, but worth it since the few extra ounces make it a fun shooter. .380 is also a little more affordable to practice with, I've seen shelf prices 12.99-14.99/50. One line, as cheap as 9 I also have a PK380, which is bigger, not sure how it compares to your Remington, but is also a great SD/HD/range gun.

Raoul, thanks for the endorsement. Mrs GtG has some issue that CBDs should / could help. Knowing someone reputable and legit has found relief with the product gives me more confidence to investigate. I am a FIRM believer in medicinal use and application for all forms or marijuana, science don't lie (much) Enjoy 9 months of terminal cancer with a loved one and see the therapuetic impact. Recreational use (get out your tin foil hats) is for tax revenues and another way for .gov to dumb down and control the masses...

Thanks for the clarification! Sin occurs when one has desire and opportunity. -
ATF prosecution for pistol as SBR

I don't have a dog in this fight and won't put myself in a position to fight it. The question is how many able bodied shooters bought a brace to be used as designed? My guess is not many. Letter vs. spirit I know and agree legal gun owners don't do bad things with SBRs, taxed and tagged or otherwise. Adding in the double standards, supression of information, supporting docs, or evidence, I dont have a few thousand extra to pay an attorney (for federal charges!) to play a game I shouldn't have to play. -

I switched to Precision One, strong endorsement from shootingthebull410. No malfunctions in my Kimber Micro or Walther PK 380. -
Wasn't looking, considering it would have cheaper to buy a 9mm barrel for my recently acquired P224. Being heavy in CZ mags, I justified the purchase of a nearly identical firearm based on current ownership and positive experience with CZ, private, local sale at a fair price and mag compatibility. It's weak, but I think this is going to be a dandy little gun.

GDs are my preferred in 9, 124 or 147 accurate (for me) and web based test reveal consistent performance. Like Prag, I like swc-hp for my .38/.357 wheelies. The win pdx1 seems to be a good .357sig loading. Similar experiences. -
Thanks for your service.

Been thinking about lepers. In the ancient world, they were discarded, forgotten, and shut off from society. Biblically, it was particularly hard for a Jew, especially with Levitical law. Shut off from society in general and your family, friends, and culture specifically. Religiously, the afflicted had obviously earned God's (or the gods') disfavor or invited in Satan and his minions into your very body. Enter Jesus, heals those with leprosy and shows that leprosy doesn't make a person unclean nor unloved by God. Rings a little bit with James and not judging based on appearance. All in all, the lepers were universally shunned, both by members of their own family and society as a whole. We don't have wide spread leprosy today or leper colonies, so the teaching tied to leprosy seems a bit dated and hard to relate to. It does seem to me that the homeless are treated as modern day lepers. Shunned, forgotten, unwanted, a simple head turn to the right or left and they don't exist.

A friend has 2 Tauri revolvers. He is a bit of a gun snob and speaks highly of value and quality. If I was looking, I'd give them strong consideration.

A few years back, I read some of Adrien's (sp?) Undead Diary. On line blog like postings. Not married, but similar urban style encounters. If I recall, his home base was an abandoned private college. Will keep checking in to see if the book is identified.

Senior year of high school, Winter Park, FL. Watched it live from the schoolyard. Cold weather launch, rubber o-ring failed (if I recall correctly)
