  1. David, I'll take a couple. Gonna have to come up with a hat to stick 'em on tho.
  2. First I'd heard of them as well. Being a disabled combat vet myself (Nam), I hope it works out for them. According to their website, they'll take care of any issues. I have no experience with them, so can't vouch for that.
  3. Never had an issue with a reload primer. Have had on priner that did not fire, even after repeated tries. It was a Winchester 30-06 factory round. I've always stuck with CCI, or if not available, Federal. 12 out of 30 rds. is pretty bad. Hope Remington will help you out. The few times I've dealt with them on a quality issue, they were great.
  4. I have rings that came with the Forster dies. Likely, some of the cross-bolt type rings will fit, but not sure if they will work as well. Have to do some experimenting to see if they do. The die holder and the shell holder both have flexibility, so they self align both ways. Some die rings have a set screw that fits against the die thread, and can sometimes set cocked to one side slightly. The press should compensate for that. Regardless, I plan on using the Forster rings. May have to get more later for other dies. Thanks for the input guys. Altogether new type press for me. Any hints are welcome. Pride is in the bottom drawer, LOL
  5. Have ordered a Forster Co-Ax press. Had my eye on this for some time, finally decided to go ahead with it. Will be a big improvement over my decades old RCBS junior. Watched a demo on youtube & made up my mind for me. Going to be fun getting everything reset. May be here at the end of the week, or first of next. Not cheap compared to some, but built like a D-9 Cat., plus more accurate alignment. Feel free to chime in with opinions/experiences.
  6.    FWIW, "round" is a shape also., LOL
  7. From a cartoon in the paper:  "Last year I set a goal to lose 10 lbs. I've only got 13 lbs. to go ". That about sums it up for me. ;)
  8.    Current price is $ 31.80/ 100. Last order I had for 100 was $9.95 S/H.  3 day ship. backlog according to site.  SIE2200  .308 168 gr. HPBT M.K.
  9. Try Powder Valley. They had them in stock a minute ago. Good company, have done quite a bit of business with them. No complaints.
  10.    Yep, I've done it myself a few times. Never saw a factory round tho. Always caught it as soon as I did it.......so far.

    Colt AR15-A4

Runco, enjoy your new toy. I have one I bought 10+ yrs ago. It's at home. Partial to Colt in ARs. Great looking rifle.
  12. I found a holster for my Walther PPQ that I like really well. It's from ZAHAL Israel Tactical Gear. It's made "similar" to a Serpa, but better design, adjustable for cant, paddle or belt options, retention type, but better than the Serpa design. Think it was around $30, took a few days from Israel, but not as long as expected. I bought the paddle & belt options, but like the paddle as it's a quick on/off, compared to a belt type. I had a nice leather with a top strap, FBI cant, just like this better. To each, his/her own preference.   zahal.org
  13. I can't explain all the reasons the Lebanon show is a flop, but partly due to the size of the bldg., aisles sre so packed, you can't cuss a cat without getting hair in your mouth. Admission there, like the Nashville show, is too much for the size of the show. Promotion is usually ok in the local area, maybe not elsewhere, don't know. Plus the % of junk to guns is to high ( as usual ). If i need socks, I'll go to W'mart. Can't see this show improving, or Goodmans. Hasn't in years, not likey in the future.
  14.    Yeah, I'd love to make the Tulsa show, but just too far off my home range, LOL. Plus, my old landing gear  won't handle that much walking.
  15.    Right about that. The Ag center show started out great, but soon went down the tube. A long drive for very little.  I won't be going back either.  It's a shame and a mystery why a good size venue can't be found in the mid-state area. Hunting season is upon  us & Christmas right around the corner, two usually big show dates. Can't imagine they'll let that slip by.
  16. Noticed there are no future shows listed for the 'boro. Anyone know what's up? Maybe having issues with the owners again? This has been an on again/off again thing in the past. Hate to lose this one. Only decent show in the area.
  17. How is this a 2nd Amend. issue?
  18. Good luck with your new venture Sam. You'll always be "The" gunshowgirl to us.
  19.    Totally agree. Really bad thing looking for a place to happen.
  20.  I was there early this AM, 9 or so, place was packed, had to breathe air that someone else had breathed 3 or 4 times  already. Talked to a buddy of mine for a while. Bought a bottle of water for a $1. Decided the AC on ny F-150 felt better.  Oh, well.........
  21. Me thinks the post doesn't pass the sniff test.

    Colt AR15-A4

Love it! But, the decimal is in the wrong place for me. LOL  Had the old A-1 in 'Nam w/ M-203 attached.
  23.    Sounds good! Gotta track down when my contract expires.
  24. In my area, Verizon is the only one with service. As for the phone, I currently have a Motorola Razor Max. When my contract expires, I'm going back to the old flip phone ( if I can still find one ). Smartphone is too expensive, + don't use the 'net on it all that much. ATT will never get another penny from me.
  25. I see one open carry in the Lebanon store, occasionally, never saw anyone create an issue. Same for Cracker Barrel.
