Kind of strange coming from a dem!

Well at least they have admitted it.

And not just a Dem, but one in Illinois.

I would definitely have lost money betting on this one...

The governor of Illinois won’t pass up a dollar in taxes. He blasted all the taxes up last year gas, cigarettes, license plates, etc., when he had a windfall coming in January when the state would jump into the drug business.

But on another note, a few years ago the Illinois Supreme Court indicated that they thought restricting the carry of a handgun off private property was a violation of the 2nd amendment. But they weren’t being asked to answer that question at the time, in that case. So the liberal democrats are trying to keep a case like that from going forward.

I can now carry a gun in my car in Illinois (as can anyone with an HCP). I was arrested for that when I lived there. So some progress is being made.
