Memphis Post Office shooting

Recommended Posts

The FBI was investigating a shooting at a Tennessee post office Tuesday where three employees, including the suspected shooter, died, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at the Orange Mound post office, and the Memphis Police Department was assisting with securing the perimeter, the police force tweeted. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the law enforcement arm of the Postal Service, told Fox News the shooting occurred at the facility called the East Lamar Carrier Annex.

The Postal Service is being tight lipped and not giving out much info. Local news has learned that the victims were the manager (male) and a supervisor (female). Shooter was also an employee.  Everything is pointing to a disgruntled employee who  just snapped. No info as to just what or why he went over the edge.

I wasn’t there and don’t know the whole story, but I occasionally deal with people who claim they are “constantly being harassed.”  After doing a little digging, it often means “I don’t like being told what to do.”

From what I'm hearing from people I know who work for USPS, the management are a bunch of assholes. They're surprised there aren't more shootings, is what they tell me.
