Glock gen 6 happening or fud?

I just don't get why removable FCUs are so revolutionary.  I can take my FCU and put it in a smaller grip frame.  Or a blue grip frame.  So what.  They seem kinda gimmicky.  I don't see a scenario where I will pull parts from one frame and switch it to another based on some new need.  If I want a smaller or bigger gun, I will buy a smaller or bigger gun.

I rather agree.  Think some agencies and the military think it is the way to go

I think the Gen 6 will be a redesigned slide doing away with the optic plates and going with the pin setup. They might include the Performance Trigger with it as well as more aggressive texturing and undercuts on the frame.

The extendable frame patent probably rules out a self contained FCU.  I’m sure Glock has been hearing people talk about wanting longer or shorter grips on a given gun for decades, and they think this will settle their hash.

I felt the same way until I got a P365 and 365XL. Changing grip frames is a fantastic way to fine tune the feel of a pistol, and changing my 365 to a 365X with just a grip proved an excellent upgrade for low $$.

My Gen 5 Mdl 19 has a much better grip than the others. I don't need any change of the grip. Even like the stippling of the grip.

Edited to add; Still think the Mdl 23 40 Cal is a much better OWB carry. Very effective caliber.
