Btw, it's "plumb", not "plum", so yeah, you must be, unless you really are nuts about plums. :)

I've got one, put about 1000 rounds of 223 through it and another 1500 22lr with no issues. Super light, great trigger, easy to bump fire, mates tight to my Stag and JSE surplus uppers. I plan on getting a few more when I get some extra money. There are paople running these with 7.62 and 458 uppers. I have no worries when I shoot mine.

I ordered it from a place in AZ. It was $119 shipped and then I paid my FFL and TICS. Comes complete, ready to install with commercial buffer tube, tapco stock, and parts kit all installed. Slapped it on an upper in a matter of seconds. I have been trying to find a dealer within a couple hours drive because I would pick up a few more. If anyone is in the Columbia/Spring Hill area and wants to check it out let me know. You are more than welcome to bring some ammo and take it for a whirl. I promise you won't be disappointed. As a good friend of mine says the standard trigger is as nice as his RRA 2 stage with 0 creep and 0 over travel with a very clean break.

I too had my doubts, that was why I purchased one, to see what it was really like and give it a good beating.

As for the bushmasters that exploded, if the lower receiver exploded there was a bigger problem than the polymer lower. If the polymer upper receiver exploded, that makes more sense because the pressures and forces on it. The lower receiver sees very little force and 0 pressure.

If you had a bushmaster explode.....what did the lower have to do with it?

David - The aluminum gets cold to the touch and on cool days I lose muscle memory in my fingers when swapping between my hot mocha latte and my cold AR aluminium receiver whilst training for the impending zombie invasion on the 1000 yard range.

And they make beer cans out of aluminum...why would anyone want a gun made out of a beer can? Space age polymer is the wave of the future.

I hangout on predator masters a lot and some of the guys ther are just plumb crazy over ther plumb crazy ARs, from what I've been read'n ther a fine piece of equipment and the only complaint is about the trigger, and it gets better with time, some of theses gents are ending up with a AR in the 5 pound range.

kinda been think'n about a AR for myself, the Plumb Crazy dont sound like a bad idea to me, I've seen the carbon fiber ARs so whats the big deal about a polymer AR, they use polymer in every thing else so I dont think it would be a big issue.
