WATE Knoxville News Segment on CCW Tonight

WATE, the ABC affiliate in Knoxville, is airing a segment on concealed carry tonight. Based on the teaser, I'm not holding out much hope for the objectivity of the piece.

That guy in the orange shirt needs to be reminded of the rules of firearm safety.

Just in that short clip he had his hand in front of the muzzle twice and was pointing his pistol at his stomach while clearing it.

Honestly it sounds like it's not going to be that bad, though the guy they interviewed could have been much better.

Unfortunately Knoxville is becoming more and more liberal. Though on a positive note a couple came into the store the other day and they were both carrying. We had a nice conversation for about 30 minutes about everything gun related.

I thought knoxville had been very liberal for a long time ?

This is true, I would say it's becoming more noticeable though. Honestly I have no clue about Haslam, I wouldn't put it past him though.

A mayor does not a liberal town make. Oh and btw that mayor is now the state governor.

Knoxville seems to be a conservative town to me, with a strong liberal component.

I do know Memphis and Nashville are VERY liberal cities with VERY conservative suburbs.

I have talked with her several times and she is very knowledgeable about guns and the laws. I also found a new place to shop, gotta love any place the staff OC's

I did not want to admit I knew her name. That would mean I am there too much. She was out at the CCA in kingston the last time I was out there. I do not got to either CCA that often anymore.
