Bloomberg Board Looking For Other Food Products To Ban

Recommended Posts

He needs to ban crime first. Lot of people are getting hurt because of it. Oh and driving. A lot of people are hurt in cars. And, um, working. Lot of people are stressed out because of work, causes heart problems. And um...

this flabbergasts me so badly that 1) this ban is being considered 2) people aren't violently opposed.

what about when obesity necessitates a ban on television viewing of more than 2 hours per day, thereafter the gov't mandated chipset will deactivate your tv power supply?

what about when obesity necessitates a ban on ny pizzerias, hotdog/pretzel stands. but never you mind about the world famous hotdog eating contest over there ma'am!

what about when obesity necessitates a ban on elevators and escalators without documented medical need?

what about when obesity necessitates a ban on taxis because the act of paying 10000+ to drive others around is too sedentary.

i think that the real problem is the conditioning that has occurred in the populace that there isn't immediate outcry against this infringement of civil liberties? i heard the ACLU has a dog barkin in this fight but more than likely just the min-pin. the state has gradually eroded the individual's prerogative and freedom in an effort to maintain a pacified compliant union that will drink the sugar-free free trade kool-aid.

Makes me wanna grab them all by the hair, snatch their head back and pour a pint of redeye gravy down their throat.

Eat healthy if you like, I'm proud of you. LEAVE EVERYONE ELSE ALONE.

It's the whole country's BIGGEST problem. It ain't the economy or terror. No one can mind their own dang business.

Their nothing but attention whores.

Michael Bloomberg= Ellsworth Toohey. Just another socialist in the big city.

I heard a report about someone from Coca Cola challenging Bloomers reasoning by showing

some real data on obesity and sugar in soft drinks. Kind of reminds me of global warming.

I can already see the business plan now. Running coca cola up to New York and sneaking it past the ban. Some people in New York might even start making their own in small operations they can keep hidden.

They're only banning them in restaurants. They're going to wind up getting away with this, and the sheeple of NYC will fall in line.

You know I find myself sitting in silent agreement with Caster a lot. This post about sums up my feelings perfectly, cept I'd use sausage gravy.

There was an excellent documentary made a while back about Larry Flint called "Left Alone" now think what you like about him, his publication, morals or lack there of, he made a few very good points about this being one of the biggest individual issues in the country.

I highly recommend watching the film, not at all an abundance of nudity but certainly some suggestive material not suited for an immature viewer.

Wait...I get it. They want you to eat healthy so you'll be healthy. Healthy people don't go to the doctor as much so when they ram that forced healthcare up everyone's butt there'll be fewer diet related cases.

Food control - brought to you the same liberals who want to control every part of your life.
