Stopped in SMKW Saturday and they are making some changes. They started selling ammo Wednesday. And are gonna start selling modern firearms within the next couple of weeks.  They said "Buds" was gonna open a gun shop across the way at the antique mall

What's the point of opening a gun store in a tourist area? Most of the tourist that visit PG and Gatlinburg are from out of state  and can't buy firearms here. Unless, they are hoping to do a great mail home to local gunstore business. I would love it if a Bud's opened up there with the deals that have.

J Floyd's Golf and Guns has operated just down the road for years.

So, because buds is planning, they want to try and get a jump on the action I see.

I stopped in yesterday and they had .22 and .380 and a good variety of other cal's from just about every maker. They had a ton of ammo and it was stacked high on those racks on the left as you walk in. Looks like they are still remodeling where the "gun" area will be. Should be pretty big by the size of the area they're working on. Also saw they had 3 counters full of different ammo on the right side as you walk in. They had .22 in stock and i got 2 boxes of 325 rounds. I was told by the guy at the counter that they will be getting in scopes, clips, guns, holsters, targets, acessories, and about everything that most gun stores will have. I live in dandridge so this will give me a reason to stop in there more often.

Awesome.buds hasn't even flipped a light switch on and they have dead on competition already. Having 1 stores that close will give buyers some good prices. Fear this ammo bitches!!!!!

Good for "tourism" too. Give me more reason to go down there anyway. I try for once every 4-6 months, wouldn't mind stopping by more often.
