Outstanding! Was this brass cased or aluminum? Either way that is a great price. Better than I have seen locally.

It doesn't say, but I'm going to say brass.  It was cheaper than Tula.  I saw 100 round Remington at Gander Mountain for $75!!!  :ugh:

I found 3 Federal 100 round value packs for 28.97 each at Wal Mart.  I guess it pays to look at their ammo case occasionally.

Well shoot, I just bought two boxes 50ea of Blazer Brass 230gr for $21 per box, maybe I should have shopped.

I'm sure is was $28.97.  I was shocked, but not enough to buy them all!!!  I've got to keep practicing with my new 1911 ya know???

You hit the jackpot then.  Federal 100 counts in .45 have not been that price in a looong time.  Saw some today at my local WM and they were $38.77.

I didn't expect for them to honor the price, but the sticker below showed the boxes was for that product.  I thought I was going to have to argue with them too, but I didn't.  The cheapest I've paid for 45 was a box of 50 for $16 for steel cased Tula.  This was cheaper than 9mm, so I snagged it.

Ya'll need to start reloading. I can load my cast bullets and have just under $0.05 per round or $5.00 per 100 rounds. I can assure you it won't take long to make up the cost of a reloader set-up. Just my 2 cents. Ya'll have a Happy New Year!! Mac

Grumble, grumble.

Dad blasted reloaders.................

LOL!

But we aren't wrong ;-)

To the OP, good score! There are a few deals out there that I jump on like crazy. They're drying up slowly, but some are still out there. Congrats on finding one!

I bought a box of .45 ACP last year for a friend of mine for Christmas. It was 39 bucks / per hundred I think, and I got it at Walmart.

Looked this year to do the same and passed on the idea. Was MUCH more! Eek!!

musicman, nope. You are not wrong! ;) Edited by TN Volunteer
