  2. If you don’t care about money, Desanos. Wood fired. Im originally from the NE. I’m a pizza snob. One thing I miss about home. Pizza tastes better out of brick ovens. I think they use old world dough. Tastes like New Haven pizza minus some of the char. You’re looking at $40 for a pizza. It’s worth it. If you go in person you can build your own infused EEOV and you used to be able to BYOB but they offer wine service. Close to your area: Long hollow pizza is around the corner from camps. It’s decent pizza for when you have a pizza maintenance craving to satiate. Sometimes topping heavy. Thursday nights $10 2 topping and a soda or beer. Used to be a spot in Hendersonville near the movie theatre “slice of ny”. Not sure if still there. Has some flop and grease but tastes like nyc street pizza.
  3. Some people do a pressure test on each case so they don't want them decapped. Ammo reloading companies will only buy it with primers. Most everyone that reloads has a tumbler or 2 to clean what they can get free or cheap. Only thing I want in brass for now is 303 Britt, 444 Marlin and 9.3X74R. I've got lots of 9mm that no one wants.
  4. I didn't miss the mark. How about a real Italian pizza from a shop where XL pizzas don't fit in the box and are on sale Mons and Tues for $8.50...? There are no decent pizzas nearby us in a pinch. Now Sals or Salvos pies are the closest and the best but a bit of a drive.... I don't care about prices if they are good. Campiones is great too, but they do Chicago style and only after 3PM and you must preorder because they get bought out quick. You can get them on their flatbread though I still believe. Real Italian by real Italians... Check their menus... great family biz... Campione's Taste of Chicago | Best Italian food in TN | Italian food
  5. Today
  6. Hey! You just described me after my wife and I took the convertible and drove the Tail of the Dragon on Tuesday.
  7. Interested in the Sig P226, can you DM?
  8. Where are you located?
  9. I believe it’s the confluence of several compounding factors. 1. it’s a really a DA design, retrofitted to become a striker gun, 2. the engagement surfaces between the sear and the striker block are minuscule (1/3) in comparison to other striker guns 3. Known trigger return spring issues prevent complete trigger reset, reducing striker block engagement even further; enough that vibration or impact can cause it to release 4. the lack of a trigger safety like other striker gun makes it more prone to a true Accidental Discharge, by not creating a physical barrier to incidental trigger motion 5. I think the drop safe failure and this issue have the same root cause, but I also think the previous known and supposedly “corrected” issue has predisposed us to look for them. 6. the pre-cocked striker design in general basically to me it’s similar to carrying a bullseye style single action gun with all safeties removed which, interestingly enough, did you know that the US Cavalry lost more troopers to NDs with their single action army revolvers than all the Indian wars combined?
  10. They should stake out all the stores that sell spf 100 sun screen or put out a BOLO for a tired, sweaty lobster red, skin head looking dude.
  11. I’m a big fan of the Ruger LC9S, an upgrade to the EC9. I think it’s was one of the best single stack 9s on the market!
  12. I can’t remember the numbers that I heard one time - but they were fine. They viewed it as “our part of being a good member of the community” but wound up making money anyway because of all the families and such that wound up coming in.
  13. Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~
