Looking to sale or (mainly) trade this Chinese Type 53. I have a Tula M44 that gets all of the Mosin carbine attention, so wanting to spread the fire breathing love to someone else! I've actually never fired this rifle, but there's nothing to make me think it won't be a great shooter. I was pretty surprised with how great of condition the bore was in when I got it. These rifles were ridden pretty hard in Vietnam from my understanding. Darker bore with prominent rifling. No clear pitting that I could tell. I do believe this is a Vietnam bring-back. No discernible import marks. Mismatched bolt. Non-matching. No cleaning rod. Bayonet works great. Looking to mainly trade, but will always listen to cash offers. Open to alot trade wise with cash to top going either way. Mostly other milsurp rifles especially K31/K11, Large ring 8mm Mausers , French Berthier and Lebel, Early war Arisakas, Enfield No4. Mk1. Canik and CZ handguns, Ruger and S&W wheel guns. Only thing I'm not too interested in is another AR platform or a Glock.

Or maybe we can. I didn't think auctions were allowed on TGO, but who knows what is permissible with the current level of moderation here? Maybe I'll have to try it.

After all of this great feedback and more research, I believe I have decided to build an AR-15 that fits my specs and modifications. This would assist with options for hunting as well as home defense. 300 BLK would be my primary build, and I will be looking for deals on other caliber uppers in the future. The next thing to begin researching and discussing would be rifle vs pistol for my primary build. Looking forward to this adventure in the AR platform while bellowing my 2a right along the way
