  1. Past hour
  2. It is a m&p 2.0 metal but not the carry comp
  3. Unfortunately, I do not
  4. I don't believe there's enough suppressors and SBRs sold yearly for the tax revenue to be the reason it was removed. I don't believe the GOP ever expected it to pass from the get-go. I think they just put it in there to have a bargaining chip they were willing to concede on to get the rest of the bill passed. They only succeeded at making the Dems continue to look like the 2A enemies they are and they got to pose as our 2A allies for a few weeks.
  5. I’ve called and emailed Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Haggerty and Tim Burchett. Basically saying this. Please pressure Senate Leader John Thune to remove Elizabeth MacDonough from her position of Senate Parliamentarian and restore the original wording for the SHORT Act and HPA to the Big Beautiful Bill. I have never been more disappointed in the RNC in my life! The RNC is in serious jeopardy of losing my vote in the coming midterms and possibly for good! I have also emailed John Thune basically saying the same thing and also posted the same thing on Twitter (X).
  6. I called Thunes office and sent E-mails to Blackburn and Haggerty- None of these may help but it sure won't help if nothing is said about it-
  7. Today
  8. Tim Burchett would be receptive I believe
  9. The number to call is 202-224-3121. The switchboard will switch to the Senator or Representative that you request. Tennessee Senators are Marsha Blackburn and Bill Haggerty. Tennessee Representatives are 1st district: Diana Harshbarger (R) (since 2021) 2nd district: Tim Burchett (R) (since 2019) 3rd district: Chuck Fleischmann (R) (since 2011) 4th district: Scott DesJarlais (R) (since 2011) 5th district: Andy Ogles (R) (since 2023) 6th district: John Rose (R) (since 2019) 7th district: Mark E. Green (R) (since 2019) 8th district: David Kustoff (R) (since 2017) 9th district: Steve Cohen (D) (since 2007) You can forget calling Cohen. He is our ENEMY. Kustoff isn’t a very good friend to us either.
  10. do you have the original front and rear sights?
  11. Sounds like a fun trip!
  12. I've called Senator John Thune's office as well as our TN Senators as well as the senators from another state I have property in to express my disgust. Will it do any good? Well, not calling sure won't. Remind Ms. Blackburn she wants to be our next governor (God help us) and we are sick of this BS federally & at the state level and are watching.
  13. The dismantling of the NFA will never happen, it's a useless tax but once they start to get the revenue it's like anything else when it comes to taxes and money. I feel it's an outdated rule, you should be able to buy them just like any other regular gun, fill out the dealer paperwork and pass the background check and walk out just like any other gun purchase. I'd be willing to pay for the stamp right then and there if you could do it like any other gun purchase, the only thing is if you decide to sell it to an individual like the classifieds, then I do believe you should go through a FFL Dealer to do so. Just my $.02.
  14. Seems to me that Republicans are just Democrat Lights.
  15. We were so close to having two of the three legs cut out from under the NFA, with the SHORT Act and the HPA, both being included in the Big Beautiful Bill, only to see it quashed by the partisan, APPOINTED, NOT ELECTED Senate Parliamentarian (Elizabeth MacDonough, appointed by Harry Reid in 2012). Rather than remove her from her position or at the very least override her decision, we are leaving her in place and amending the language in both Acts to zero out the tax stamp, but leave the draconian and very odorous registration requirements in place. This is not what held my nose and voted for! Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, three and four more times, shame on me. I’m to the point, I just cannot trust the Republicans anymore.
  16. POSTED BACK UP FOR TRADE
  17. Yep! Exactly right! And there I was that Tuesday when we did the Cooper Scout Walk. My greenhorn self only THOUGHT I had pre-hydrated enough. Learned real quick just how wrong I was.
