  1. Nor I, but I'm still concerned that the NRA is involved. Nothing good comes from them sticking their fingers in the pie when the manufacturers and others get concerned.
  2. Trump and the NRA also seem to be against this as well so...
  3. I was interested to see who locally was into it, but do have some more specific questions that I'll send you a PM about.
  4. Metals Supermarket off Lovell could be an option. I use them occasionally for work but don't know what they carry so far as blade steel goes. Same for Specialty Metals on Scottish Hill Pike.
  5. Well, the R.A.C.K meeting was fine but I didn't really learn that much from it. Last night I went to the S.M.A.R.C meeting in Alcoa and it was much better. They seemed to be far more outgoing than the former and more willing to share info.
  6. As I've recently learned. I'm more interested in seeing if anyone was into ham, I'm just now trying to get started and licensed.
  7. Anyone in Knoxville mess around with Ham Radio?
  8. Pond behind the house is up but no damage. Dayton and all those areas got hammered though it looks like after driving through today.
  9. This is why I enjoy building them, especially the weird and different ones. It's just exciting pull the trigger for the first time on something you've machined, welded, formed, etc wondering if it's going to work or if you have to go back to the drawing board.

    Ruger LCP

The LCP isn't bad to shoot, but they aren't pleasant either. I personally like them though, carry one on me pretty much all the time. As mentioned above they are surprisingly accurate little guns.
  11. Cz makes great pistols, I just picked up a 97B and boy is it a shooter.
  12. Took the design cue from the Italians so they could do an Italian transition in no time flat.
  13. It's actually a flare gun, but they made grenades to shoot from them like in that picture. There is also a stock made for them as well. Somewhere I have a picture of one I saw in person.
  14. I've been to Top's a number of times, as I am from Memphis after all.
  15. Next time I'm in town I'll have to stop by, which might be soon. Always went to Bronson's. Bullet by the round? Do you just candy store it with a big scoop into a bag?
  16. Swapped out every bulb in the house with LED bulbs and have yet to have any issues. The early ones sucked but I think they worked out the issues at this point.
  17. Because it's the THP? That's why.
  18. I don't think they still do it, but if you ever see "The Art of the Motorcycle" at a museum or convention center, go. It's worth the admission. Somewhere I have a book of it with all the pictures of the motorcycles. You're welcome to borrow it interested.
  19. With the exception of those that get sold off or kept before going to the grinder.
  20. Ultimately I'd guess if they were trying to get you on that then they have a laundry list of other charges on you. If you don't have a spare rifle stock on you or in your possession I can't see how they could call it constructive intent, they approved the thing regardless. (Though we all know that can change like the wind)
