  1.   I assume you don't mean the ancient Greek physician.
  2. That's the John Sevier range.  Been there for many, many years.  Used to be an Army range before the state took it over.  Not only is there a rifle range but they have trap/skeet and sporting clays.
  3. It's good to call the cable company every couple of years to set them straight on what reasonable pricing is.  It's about time I have a friendly chat with mine to get a new rate.
  4. Is it a springy sound?  AR's do that.
  5.   Most likely embalming you.
  6.   Painting with a broad brush regarding those whose every other word is "Obama" or something to the effect the sky is falling.
  7. Tennessee Guns Inc is still in business as far as I know.  I saw TGI Inc, Knox TN Chinese SKS's just the other day at a local store and AIM Surplus had a batch of imported High Powers last week with the TGI mark on them.   AIM also had 7.62x54r VEPR's a few weeks ago from TGI.   As an aside, TGI has been the only importer ever who knows how to discreetly mark an import without ruining them.
  8. Budget and Timney aren't even in the same dictionary.    Let's see some pics!
  9.   Vesuvius.  ;)   Had a doberman as a kid we called Beowulf but that doesn't really seem right for a lab.
  10. What is your name?  Name him that.
  11. I placed one of many orders from PSA last September.  Received it a week or two later.  It still shows as processing.
  12. I hear enough tinfoil hattery at regular gun shows.
  13. That vendor is in Oregon.....and here I've been only flagging the Tennessee douchebags this whole time.  Sounds like some of y'all are going nationwide.
  14. You need to think bigger (and bluer).  The 686 is a medium sized S&W but don't forget the smaller K-frame, fixed sight models that are just about the most perfect revolver ever invented, or the big N-frames that eat .357 Magnum like candy and go on up to .44 Magnum.  ;)
  15.   That is precisely what any intelligent person would do.  Drunk or not.
  16. That girl is undoubtedly dumb as a post but I see no reason she should be charged with anything.  Dude did ask for it after all.
  17. WM has never been the cheapest when it comes to .223 and 7.62x39 but those Federal 100 round packs of .223 where kinda convenient at $34.97/box.  I also noticed yesterday those are now $40.97/box.  That's a $6 increase since June of last year when I last bought one.  That's a 17% increase which seems to be typical of Federal every year (at least at WM).
  18. This bacon foolishness needs to stop.  If it's not crispy fried strips of pig meat or crumbled pieces of said crispy cooked meat....IT AIN'T BACON.
  19.   Springfield or Rock Island?
  20. It's fun finding stuff you forgot about.  Then again, you realize you never even needed it the whole time it was gone.
  21. There are many flavors of "9mm" but only one 9mm Luger (or 9mm Parabellum, 9x19mm, 9MM NATO or whatever other names it's been called).  You're buying the right bullets.   Pay close attention to the 9x19mm part.  There are also 9x17 (.380 ACP), 9x18mm (9mm Makarov) and others that are longer than 9x19mm (like 9x23mm, or Largo as it's called).  They are not compatible.
  22. I'm sure legislation will be introduced within a week to ban the things.

    XP Updates?

If you mean the Microsoft Update site, yes it is still up.
  24. Looks good.  That second one turned out very nicely.
  25. Many parents must already have one.  They just take a walk when it comes time to actually be a parent.
